Ndulue came back to meet his wives in a pitiable condition. Each groaning in deep pains while Ekemma looked on like nothing happened.
"Ekemma what's the meaning of this? What is wrong with these two?"Ndulue asked
"They wanted to fight so I gave them a liberal ground to do so but it seems they're now tired.."Ekemma said suppressing her laughter.
Ndulue looked at Adaugo and Omasili who were still on the ground groaning in deep pains.
"So after everything..all the punishments I gave..both of u still went on to turn my compound to a wrestling nest.. OK.. I know what to do.. I just know exactly what to do because am tired of your excesses"He said and turned to Ekemma.
"Ekemma!"
She stood up
"Nnanyi"
"Go to the leader of the UmuAda, tell her that I want to see her and it's a matter of life and death.. Tell her these two useless women have decided to kill me before my time.."
On hearing "UmuAda", the women on the ground tried to get up despite their pains.
"Biko oo.. Adim very sorry"Omasili busted into tears
Even Ekemma felt pity for them knowing fully well what the UmuAdas are capable of doing in such a matter..
"Biko Nnanyi, let's not take the matter to them.. We can.."
"Shut up!!!"Ndulue thundered in anger and they all shrinked in fear.
"If I open my eyes and still meet you here that you've not gone to where I sent you.. Even the earth will reject your corpse after I finish dealing with you!!"He screamed at Ekemma who immediately ran out with her old legs to carry on with his errand.
"both of you.. I regret the day I went to pay your brideprice.. If I had invested that money into a business, I would have been the richest in this land by now.. Useless bunch of untrained maggots"He spat out and made for his Hut.

ONU-AGBALA SHRINE
Onu-agbala was chewing kolanut in his outer shrine when someone appeared before him.
He stood up looking directly at her because she covered her face with a veil.
"Who is that who stands before Agbala shrine fearlessly? Who are you?"He asked
She slowly removed her veil
"It is I, AJONWA"She smiled
He moved back in surprise
"What do u want? How dare you come into this sacred shrine and stand before me who is the mouthpiece of the gods? How dare you, you evil child of darkness"
She smiled looked unperturbed as she paced the shrine.. Then suddenly stopped before Onu-agbala who she looked face to face with a frown on her face.
"The gods are too holy to dwell before an unclean creature like you. You have soiled your hands Onu-agbala and your gods have left you.. I am here for a mission and I don't need distractions like you.."
Before he could say anything, she stretched her hand forward and struck him down while she disappeared.
Nworie, Onu-agbala only surviving child heard the noise as he had been in the nearby bush hunting small animals.. He ran immediately to his Father's side shaking him vigorously and crying.
"Nnam! Nnam wake up!!"He cried
Onu-agbala who was struggling to breath muttered to his son.
"Hurry.. Take..the..the..sacred..staff..of..of..agbala and run away..go and find Nku..find Nku.. And he will.."He dropped dead..
Nworie screamed and cried bitterly but he immediately summoned courage, went into the shrine, carried the sacred staff and ran off..

"But what?!" King Afam screamed in impatience..
"I.. I saw Onu-agbala lying dead on the ground with blood gushing out of his mouth and nostrils.."
"Whaaaaaaat?!!!!!"They all screamed in confusion.
Just then, a Palace maid ran in
