Ajonwa stretched her hands to unleash her venom on Nworie but he was quick to dodge it. He quickly ran forward and landed a blow on her face which weakened her.. He beat her up to stupour and tied her hands behind her back because she uses her hands for all her evil demonstrations..
"I wouldn't take the glory of someone else for myself.. Am not meant to kill you, I don't even have the power to defeat you so you'll stay here till she comes and kill you herself"Nworie said tying her legs together as she struggled..
"I will kill you.. I swear I will destroy you!!"Ajonwa screamed
"I'll like to see you destroy me.. Evil idiot"Nworie laughed as he dragged her into the Shrine while he sat down making consultations and thanking the gods.

The little boy appeared with Ulumma just a stone throw to Agbala shrine..
"You can go to Agbala shrine now.. Whom you seek is there.. Hurry"He commanded and disappeared before Ulumma could thank him..
Ulumma ran all the way to Agbala shrine totally ignoring the people who stood asking her where she had been to..
She finally got to the Shrine..
"Nworie! Nworie!!"She called
Nworie was inside the shrine and hearing his name, he came out.
"I've been expecting you"He said and led her inside the shrine as she saw Ajonwa lying on the ground with her hands and legs firmly tied.
"Oh thank you gods of our land"Ulumma heaved a sigh of relief..
"Untie her hands let me get the sacred staff"Ulumma said to Nworie as she opened her bag and brought out the staff.
"Ulumma please don't do this to me"Ajonwa cried as she saw the staff
"I'm sorry but I have to do this" Nworie brought her hands forward and Ajonwa started struggling but both of them overpowered her and finally put the staff in her hands..
"Nooooooooooooo"Ajonwa screamed aloud as the staff weakened her and emitted all her powers, destroying all her powers.. Then she fell on the ground very weak.
Ulumma and Nworie knelt down facing the image of Agbala as they bowed and thanked her for helping them..
"What's next?"Nworie asked Ulumma
"I don't have an idea now but I think we should report to the King first. He'll know what to do with her"Ulumma replied
"But is she dead yet?"Nworie asked
"No she isn't.. The staff is only meant to destroy her powers according to what Nku told me so right now she's powerless and weak"Ulumma laughed
Nworie smiled "Let me get ready so we'll take her to the King.."
He went inside his Hut to get his things while Ulumma moved outside and went by the corner to wash her leg and face.
Just as she finished and wanted to move back inside the shrine, a figure ran past her sharply.. Ulumma quickly looked inside the shrine and couldn't find Ajonwa there..
"Nworiee!!!"She screamed loudly and Nworie ran out in panick
"What is it?"He asked
"She's gone.. Ajonwa is gone.."Ulumma shouted
"Whaaaaaaat???!!"He ran into the shrine but couldn't find her either
"She ran away just now.. I believe she's around somewhere.. She can't go far because she's still weak and she can't disappear because she has no powers anymore.. Quickly let's go find her"Ulumma said as she ran towards the place she saw the figure pass..
Nworie hung his bag across his neck and ran after Ulumma.

NDI MMIRI KINGDOM
Ebere was pacing about in worry..
"Ebere what is it? Why are you worried??"Anyanwu asked
"I fear for my sister Ulumma.. Am not happy I had to leave her to go and fight Ajonwa alone.. I fear for her"Ebere said almost in tears
"You just have to calm down. I know Princess Nwaala.. She's a strong and determined person, fearless and brave. I believe she'll take care of herself"Anyanwu assures her.
Ogoli was just sitting down looking at them absentmindedly. obviously, she was still mourning the death of her brother and the critical condition in which her sister was in.
"I have to go and make sure she's alive.. I have to go.. My mind won't be at rest if I continue to stay here"Ebere said
"But she said if we don't see her for 2days,we can come n search for her. It's not even up to 24hours..lets wait"Anyanwu suggested
"No.. I must go now..the journey to Umuozara takes at least 2days but if I leave now and move faster, probably I might get there tomorrow evening"
"Hmmm.. Okay, if u must go then I'd go with you"Anyanwu said
"No you don't have to.."Ebere tried to oppose
"I must protect the Princess' sister.. I do not have a choice"Anyanwu insisted
"Alright.. Alright"
Anyanwu moved forward to Ogoli.. "Please put yourself together and protect the people. I and Ebere would make the journey to Umuozara to make sure that Ajonwa is brought down permanently"
Ogoli only nodded as tears welled down her eyes.
"Please put yourself together. Everything would soon be alright"Ebere assured her
"Thank you.. I'll take care of the people as I await victory songs from you"Ogoli finally spoke. She hugged them both and they left...

"Then where is she presently?"He asked the young man
"My King I don't know.. She ran hurriedly before I could ask her any questions"He responded
"Oh my God! Where could she be hurrying to?"He asked no one in particular.. "Well now that my sister Ulumma is around Umuozara, it means the Queen, my wife is around too"He smiled to himself
"Guards!!"He called
They ran and bowed before him
"Go into the village, search all the nooks and crannies, find My sister and wife and bring them"
"Yes your highness"They chorused
"Young Man, follow them and show them where u saw my sister"
