THE EXCURSION. Part 3. (Non fiction)
She watered the holy floor and panicked.
As if it was a time bomb, the other ladies in the bus began to cry, even the ones that claimed they are matured and big.
"But there is a little solution if we all corporate to help one another" said the social director.
This statement got everyone's attention.
The tension was on the high side already so everyone was curious to have a little word that would bring relief to their hearts.
He continued.
" They said the guys could guard our ladies from the sight of the spirit by sitting beside the window while the ladies lower their heads and close their eyes, this could avoid the spirit from attack them"
"Are you sure?" One of the ladies exclaimed from behind.
"Yes, and one more thing, please there shouldn't be any feminine sound please, keep a perfect silent, I am sorry for all these, we will scape through this night by God's grace, we will all get home safely" he said.
"But why the ladies and not everyone or guys alone?" One of the ladies asked.
"I don't know but according to those people, they said the spirit is a female and she's always jealous to see any other female outside when she is invoked. This may trigger her anger to attack" he explained
I looked around, the ratio of guys to ladies is 10:90. How will few guys protect all these ladies and aside that no one should count me amongst guys that will protect o, I am not a shield abeg.
There was a royal rumble immediately he finishes his speech, girls were fighting over guys that would protect them.
At that point, I felt like an inestimable value, a gold, a diamond, a jewel. Ladies that laughed at me initially ran into my arms for safety.
What a good time to be alive.
My crush stood at a distance staring at me, I looked away, I suddenly became every lady's friend.
" See, me I can't be anyone's shield please, the spirit that want to come and catch you will come like a wind and won't it pass through me if I stay by the window side?" I exclaimed for everyone fighting on me to hear.
" But they said it won't affect a man now that the ladies are its target, please Ade, please" one of the ladies pleaded.
" See I don't trust all these spirits, it might not kill me but just spoil something valuable in my body because I am a man, I need all my organs intact please, especially the one that makes me a man, let us all pray for God's protection" I said and threw away my face.
We are all on our own, even God himself said "I am your shield" he didn't say man will be your shield.
My crush found her way to me, squatted in front of me and held my hands.
" I am sorry I have been treating you badly, and I know you really like me, please help me, this is a good time to show you really care, let me just sit beside you and lie flat on your legs, please" she pleaded.
In my mind. " pele o, G.O fagunwa, the lyrical goddess, see how she is fingering my brain with emotions, so the sound of death can humble you like this"
" ehn ehn, have you forgotten I offered you a seat beside me before and you said will it give you two lives? You didn't remember? Wawu! So I have suddenly become a life safer abi? See Amaka go and face the window, don't annoy me please, me too I want to be safe" I blurted.
These ladies thought I was joking about being concerned about my own safety too, they didn't know that a spirits that kills a woman will definitely send a man to comma if it couldn't kill him.
I am more concern about my life at this point, especially my organ, I mean the real organ that makes me a man.
Who knows if it the spirit's point of target.
Not even when the spirit is a lady, she might want to cast out something for her own enjoyment.
