"Despite everything that our contestant did for Nigerians, they voted for someone that has never even done anything for them". Craig David grit his teeth.
The president fumed at him. "Your daughter is getting married to the child of my enemy? After everything, she didn't get married to Elliot! After the sacrifice I have made for twenty years, neither i nor my brother had our way at the end".
Craig David nodded thoughtfully. "The group is of no use to me anymore, right?".
"Politicians never give up".
Craig David wiped his hands melodramatically with a towel. "I am not a politician, so I give up".
He gasped at him. "Can't you stop your daughter from getting married to that man?".
"My daughter will soon be leaving I and my wife, and because of this group that took my precious time for all these years, I didn't even have time to be with my daughter".
Mr and Mrs David walked away from the Ay Ay Chatapurai group.
Forever.
I had already cleaned the house before Myra woke up that morning.
I was washing my hands in the kitchen basin when she walked in.
She gasped. "What did you do? You cleaned the house?".
I hugged her. "Very soon, I will be a wife and a mother. If I keep relying on you to clean up for me, how will I cope when I eventually get married?".
Myra sobbed. " I will miss you so much".
"Me too, Myra".
There was a knock at the door.
Myra rushed to open.
I was surprised to see the shock on her face when she opened the door.
"Myra, who is that?". I asked curiously and went to see who was at the door for myself.
My parents.
My parents visited???
It was the first time in a long while.
Before I knew what was happening, they embraced me and congratulated me concerning my engagement with Raymond.
Here I was, thinking that it would be so hard to convince them to allow us get married.
There was another knock at the door that same moment.
This time, I was the one that opened the door.
It was Raymond and his parents.
It was the first time that i was meeting his father face to face.
I and Raymond watched both parents stare at each other.
There was another knock at the door.
Myra opened.
Allen Star.
Raymond nudged me and smiled mischievously. "Why don't we leave our parents to discuss their Ay Ay Chatapurai discussion?".
We broke into laughter and I and Raymond headed to the balcony with Allen Star while our parents remained in the sitting room to have their discussion.
Allen Star hugged me. "I have finally ended my book because of the way things turned around just as planned".
I pulled off his gripse and glared at him. "I thought everything you said to me back then at the big hall during the award night was all a lie since you and Raymond had planned it all from the onset".
"Lie? Yes, I and Raymond planned it from the on set but it wasn't a lie that I will give Bookvines publishing company to you. Neither was it a lie that I was writing a book about Ay Ay Chatapurai love story".
I jumped excitedly. "You mean you are going to give me the company?".
"Why not?".
Raymond held my face in his hands. "Why don't we complete this agreement by sealing it with a kiss? What do you think, Allen Star?".
I looked up at him shyly and allowed his lips reach for mine.
Our love story was not fictional.
It was real.
Allen Star should write a non-fiction in a fiction way .
The first non fiction ever told like fiction?.
MY SPECIAL LOVE STORY even if single life feels so hard in reality.
I will keep writing my stories and comforting myself, of who wants to comfort me by bringing a knight in Shining armor?
