Marriage is for better for worst, So therefore, you can't just leave because of little misunderstanding. Lawrence was shocked. I kept quiet, patiently waiting for him to tell me what he was doing at the Dreamland hotel. "Look babe, it's not what you think", he said, his response made me furious the more. "It's not what I think, that means, you were truly at the Dreamland hotel", I said, "Baby, am so sorry, I don't know what came over me", he said, I took a deep breath, and calmed myself down, "Baby, why? Have you forgotten about the love we shared? I am a counsel, how do I counsel people when my own husband cheats on me, what will they say when they find out," I said as I cried. Lawrence was moved by my tears, and he moved closer to me, "Am sorry baby," he said as he planted a kiss on my lips, "I won't do it again", he finally said.

That night, I was very happy, my husband was back from his trip, and also, we sorted out our little issue. We were done making love, and was lying down when his cellphone began to ring. Immediately I heard the phone ringing, I quickly closed my eyes like I was already asleep. I heard him calling my name, "Honey! Honey!", but I didn't respond. I knew he wanted to check if I was already deeply asleep. "Okay, you are asleep already", i could hear him say as he picked the call. "Jenny, why are you calling me?", he said to the person on the other side of the phone. I next thing I heard was, "My wife knows, I will come see you tomorrow, just don't call me", he said, and ended the call. At that moment, I cried bitterly in my heart, "I thought you just promised me," I muttered to myself.

After a few minutes of silence, I opened my eyes, and told him, "Good night Babes", and turned my back at him. I bit he must be shocked when he heard me say, "Goodnight" to him.

One week later, things totally changed between us, he hardly stops by at my office, he always travels for business trip. Whenever I complained, he blames work.

One day, I made up my mind, I wouldn't let him continue with this attitude, I was sulking inside me. That evening, I quickly left work, and went home because I wanted everything to look perfect, so, he will feel guilty, and explain everything to me. I quickly prepared dinner, set the table, took a bath, spread my cologne, and sat down on the dinning waiting for him to return home.

A few hours later, Lawrence arrived home, and was shocked when he opened the door, and saw how beautifully the dinning was decorated, and how lovely I look. "What are we celebrating? It's not yet our anniversary", he said, I let out a smile, "I know, I just want today to look like our anniversary", I said as I walked up to him. I helped removed his coat, and told him to go take his bath, while I wait for him at the dinning.

Thirty minutes later, he arrived at the dinning, I served him his meal, and we started eating. I saw how he was enjoying the meal, and was smiling at me, I knew that was the right time to interrogate him. "Baby, What changed, Why the sudden attitude towards our marriage?", I said to him, he gently dropped his spoon, "Are we eating or talking?", he asked, "We are doing the both", I said, "Let me eat", he said as he took back his spoon, and started eating again. "Who is Jenny?" I asked, He was shocked, "Jenny! I don't know any jenny", he said, "Baby, you don't have to lie to me, I having been watching you for long, but didn't want to say anything to you" I said to him, but yet, he denied it again, I was furious, "Lawrence, you know the kind of job I do, why will you do such to me?" I said as I slammed my hands on the table, he stood up and tired to calm me down, "Baby, it's okay, am sorry", he said, "What if someone sees, you, what would happen to my career", I said as I held his shirt and cried, "Am sorry, this will be the last time", he said, "We used to love each other, what changed, where did I go wrong? If someone should see you with another lady, don't you think it will affect my job?", I said to him, "Baby, please am sorry, it won't happen again, I promise", he said to me as he embraced me. I felt bittered, but because I love him, and still wants to be married to him, I had to forgive him. "Baby am sorry," he said again, "It's okay, you know how much I love you", I said to him, and he planted a kiss on my lips, and carried me on his arm, and took me upstairs.

One week later, things was beginning to go normal. I was at my office when Lawrence call and told me he will be out of town for a few days, "Okay", I said, and ended the call.

A few days later, Lawrence arrived home, I was happy that he was back home.

Later that evening, I, and Lawrence was having dinner, and gisting, when my phone began to ring, I checked, and saw it was my good friend Isabel. "Hello, Isabel", I said, "Hello, Olivia", she said to me, "Am fine, how are you?", I said, "Am okay, how is Lawrence?", she said, "He is good, this one you called, hope all is well?", I said to her, like I knew all was not well. Isabel took a deep sigh, "Olivia, I don't know how to tell you this, but I think Lawrence is cheating on you, he is having an affair", she said to me. I let out a laugh, pretending like I never knew anything like that. "I know how much you dislike him, but are you sure he was the one you saw?" I asked, "Olivia, I know I dislike him, but you're my friend, I won't lie to you just to break your marriage, I will mail you some proof, I took those pictures two days ago", she said, and ended the call. I was patiently waiting for Isabel to send me the pictures, so, I had to stop eating, put on my data, and began to stare at my phone. "Honey, why are you not eating?" Lawrence said to me, "I will, just waiting for something", I was still talking when my phone beeped, I went straight to my mail, opened the message, and got the shocking of my life. "Lawrence in the club with a lady", I said to myself as tears dropped off my eyes. "Honey, why are you crying", he said as he saw tears that dropped off my eyes. I couldn't say anything, I gave him my phone to see the pictures. He was surprised when he saw it, "How can this be?", he said...............
