Chapter 13

.....As I lay on the bed in the guest room, her touch replayed in my head,is this lady okay at all,what is she thinking I am,a fool or what,does she think sex is all I need,does she have any idea what shame, disgrace and embarrassment she made me,and is still making me go through,what nonsense,so sex is her problem,no wonder she went to someone who could give it to her for 8 hours,wait,8 hours with another man in the hotel,a woman that calls herself my wife,no wonder she couldn't cook that day nor even sweep the house,she was too tired from all the marathon sex,oh heaven's,how did I get to this mess,how did I marry a dog,how did iiiiii,I spent better part of the night asking How did I.

I woke up very late the next day,I had to rush to the office,I was already on probation,I neglected my duties in the course of the case,any form of negligence would cause me my job,I rushed to our bed room and didn't find Beauty,I rushed to the bathroom,had my bath,and hurriedly dressed for work,as I came out to leave,getting to the sitting room,I saw she had served my breakfast, goodmorning darling,she greeted,I looked at her and the meal,so this woman can actually make meals,and she delebrately refused to cook for me all the while, because I wasn't her priority but Chief,I shook my head,and left for the office.

You may sit Debbie,I said, thank you sir,she replied.My wife's infidelity is now an open secret, everyone is aware so there is no point beating about the bush.what do you think could be the reason a wife could decide to cheat on her husband,I asked,hmmmmmmmm it's difficult to tell why spouses cheat,whether men or women, knowing you,I know you are a very nice man,a gentle man to the core,as I can't possibly see any reason why a woman would want to cheat on you,she said.nevertheless some Women cheat when their husbands deprive them of sex, finance,care or attention which of course is not justifiable to commiting such act.i thought within me,I don't think I lack in any of the above, Beauty has my care,and attention to the very last,for God sake I worshipped the very ground she stepped on, i think I am good in bed to a very large extent, financial aspect,I can take care of my self and family,so I am not poor,nor even an average, expect of course she wanted the extravagant like style only someone in wealth and affluence can offer her like Chief,I thought within me,so tell me Debbie do you think a wife who has once cheated on her husband,can ever be faithful,,,

well sir,it takes the grace of God for a person to change totally from any sin they have been involved in,but there's nothing prayers can not solve,I know it's not easy on you,but you have to open your heart to forgive your wife totally,you are the only one that can make her a better woman,it's like the whole world is against her now,this is when you become ~her pillar of hope,Debbie said,I am trying,I am really trying,but my mind keep taking me down ~memory lane,I said, control your mind,don't allow~ it control you,else your life and home would be forever ruined,she said.thanks Debbie,I said.your welcome sir,so what do I get for you for lunch,~ she asked,jollof and chicken,and this time I am paying for both of us,I gave her some money,and she went and bought the food.

I thought about all that Debbie had said,and I concluded she was right,I know I needed time,but prayers will help me.At close of work I went home,and met my wife lying on the sofa in the sitting room,she didn't even say a word of greeting to me,I went inside our bedroom and refreshed,so she expects me to greet her first,I hissed,I came to the sitting room and pretended to be watching a TV program just to get her attention,but she ignored me,this woman must be a joker,I thought,I was very hungry I went out for dinner, got home and went to bed.

At about, 3am,I could feel her hand on my body,is this lady mad,so sex is the only language she understands,see someone I was trying my best to start afresh with,she couldn't even talk to me when I came back home,now she's touching me, she's obviously sick,I pushed her hands off me,and went to sleep in the guest room yet again.

The next morning,I got to the bedroom to prepare for work,when I observed my wife was looking quite strange in her sleeping position,I had my bath,got dressed,and was ready to leave for work,I still observed she was in the same position,at this point I had this strange feeling,I got to the door,to leave, turned and saw her same way,I called her name,but she didn't answer me,I went to her in the bed,shook her,called her name,but there was no answer..
