....I looked at her confused as she opened her arms for embrass,all eyes were gazed at us,I reciprocated and gave her a hug,but my heart was broken, Chief came to us,and begged for forgiveness,he came to me and said he was sorry for everything,and that he was willing to pay for all the troubles the case may have caused me,I looked at him in disgust,at this point I actually had wished he died for real.you may have gotten my wife with your money,but please I don't need your money or anything from you for that matter,I really do not wish to see your face ever again.i said to him.i understand your plight,but once again I am sorry, please,I really am ,he said and walked to his wife.Bola,wife of my youth,and mother of my children,I know I have offended you too much in this life time, looking at you in the eyes I am so ashamed of myself for all the psychological trauma I put you through,I am deeply sorry.she looked at him, hissed and walked up to her car and drove off....

It's been two weeks since the case vendicate,and since my wife went to her parent's,on Sunday the fifteenth day,my wife,her parents,and her uncle came to the house.My in-law,my father in law began,I can not thank you enough, for all you did for my daughter,and every part you played in making sure she didn't pay for another's crime,you are indeed a man amongst men,most men would have abandoned their wives for bringing such shame to them and their name,but you are different,my son,you really displayed the real meaning of love and sacrifice,you are the real definition of a good man, Mother in law said,my son,I know our daughter offended you,and robbed your name in the mud,but please temper justice with mercy,and find a place in your heart to forgive her, the man whom had came with them added.

My wife knelt down in tears,my husband,my king,my hero and my lord,I don't deserve some one like you,you are too good to be missed with dirt like me,I have rubbished your name,please forgive me,I am truly really sorry,I regret every action of mine,I promise to be a better wife, please, forgive me,she said.

Okay then,we are glad peace has returned,we shall be our way,father in-law had said.haba sir,wait and eat something,I added,don't worry my son,we are fine,we exchanged pleasantries and they left.
I was left with my wife in the house,she didn't know what to do,or what to say,indeed evil is bad,it deprives you of your right,your self esteem and even your voice at times.

She sluggishly went into the bed room ,had her bath and changed clothes.but I couldn't see the woman I married any more,it felt like i was seeing a stranger..

It was night already,and we were about sleeping,I adjusted to the end of the bed,she later came to were I was and was touching me indicating she needed sex,I looked at her in disgust,what sex will I possibly give to her that would be better than the 8 hours sex chief had given her I thought within,I couldn't imagine climbing her,when a man my father's age had eaten from the meal reserved for me alone,I looked at her,took a pillow and went to the other room,I didn't even say a word to her.
