i caught up with adaora, and she screamed as i raised up my hand to slap her, but then i couldn't bring it down on her, for my morale failed me, and i saw myself slowly bringing my hand down again, while she still looked at me suspiciously, "what is your gain in reporting me and planning this whole thing after you broke up with me" i asked her with an angry voice and she kept quiet and tried to move away from me, but i grabbed her hand tightly, while she stopped and her eyes became misty, "i never reported you to mumy, but your sister did" she said to me as she tried to force her hand off me, "i told her we had broken up and she begged me, but when i refused, she went and informed mummy who also begged me before you entered her room and interrupted her, this morning" she explained to me, while i loosened my grip on her hand a bit, "if it is true why then did you give chinwes number to my mum" i asked her with a thunderous voice and she shook in fright cos she had never seen me in such mood before......
"what do you expect me to do??, so you expect me to just walk away without any revenge, after breaking my heart, you dont really know how i'm feeling inside now, thats why you are behaving in this manner, i was in the camp{nysc camp} for three weeks but you never called me more than once in two days, you never cared to know how i was faring, you never even cared to know how and when we were returning, is that how a boyfriend behaves?? She asked me and continued, giving me no chance to reply, "i know how other corpers even your sister were always on phone with their boyfriend's but you just neglected me, all because you were in owerri and how do you think i would feel when i know that the person i took as my second best and boyfriend is with another girl without even remembering me", she said and tears fell out of her eyes, while i swallowed hard, "you would have done much worst if you were in my shoes" she said as she forcefully freed her hand from me, "just know that anything i do, you caused it cos you broke my heart which i left in your care and pleaded with you not to break" she said as she finally left the kitchen and i stood transfixed as i realised that i have nobody to blame for my predicament..........
But then, is adaora still in love with me?? Hmmmm, "cos she spoke like a lady down with 'bleeding love'" and i swallowed hard once more as i entered my room speechless, forgetting about the breakfast which had brought me out of my room in the first place.......... How will all these end??
