DANGER DASH
Episode 3
Their marching was like that of the children of Israel marching towards the wall of Jericho
Ayemitemi!!!!, omo you need to see temple run conducted by the entire class. Both guilty and not quilty where running for their lives. I couldn't watch but to dash off from the class and ran straight deep to the bush.
As soon as we started running, the soldiers ran after us. Even my female classmates that are always forming slayqueens out-ran me.
Can you imagine?
I was running more than my legs could carry me, until I landed in a swampy area.
I started crying
So this is how soldiers are going to catch me. What will I tell my parents?
That we beat up a corper in our school
Hmmmm, not me. I can't lay down my life for others, even if I have to, not in the hands of this soldiers
Knowing the level of our offense, I struggled out from the swarmp and continue my running.
After series of running and flying in the bush, the soldiers lost sight of us. So they gave up and returned back.
I stopped running and was sweating profusely. Little did I know I have cross two village boundaries. I was in the midst of nowhere without any of my classmates on sight.
My whole body was soaked with mould. In fact the colour of my shirt turned from white to mouldy color.
I was still contemplating on what to do next when my instincts reminded me that I was losing something.
What could that be?, I asked in my mind
I felt my pockets as quick as a lighten.
My phone!!
I have lost phone
Yeeeeehh, I started crying again
How am I going to find a phone I put on silent after having cross two village boundaries.
Yes, why won't I cry
For Christ sake, we are talking about my phone here.
I looked around and started seeing strange faces
Are they kidnappers?
Are this not the Fulani herds men said to have been killing people?
Should I run?
What if they kill me here and nobody will know about it?.
