episode 1 Umoulo town is a peaceful town with very hardworking men and women who go about their daily business.The roads leading to the schools,market and offices are always alive each morning.One thing the people of umoulo town is worried about is the presence of beggars which continue to grow everyday,they normally line up in the street chanting their usual song. ''Please give me kobo,please give me naira. God will bless you'' they sang this song everyday as they asked for help from people passing by.They usually pray for god's blessing upon those that gives them money

Episode 2 school children were not left out,they sometimes give these beggars money ranging from 5naira to 10naira from their pocket money.civil servants,traders,artisans and people from all works of life give the beggars money ranging from 50 naira an upword. This went on almost on daily basis as people felt they are actually doing the will of God. suddenly,the number of this beggars continued to increase.Some even had children sitted beside them with a seprate bowel. more and more people began to join the business of begging.They even devised a means of making the children to cry or follow people passing by who then gives out of pity.These beggars made alot of money.When somebody give them a naira note,they would quickly,put it in their bag or pocket. leaving the coins in their plates,they always expect something big from richmen.Whenever they are passing,they would increase the tone of their voice with their usual song ''please give kobo'' ''babiala'' ''god will bless you ---------- STAY TUNED!!!

episode 3 Some of the beggers usually sit at the gate of umuolo community primary school,some of the pupils were stubborn.One day Ade and Silas made a plan.they planned to steal the beggars money.They were very happy with their plans as most of the beggars were blind.They also kept their plan secret. Ade and Silas always sneak out from the class to the beggars stand when other pupils were in class studying, Ade will drop 5naira into a blind beggars plate and would remove 10 to 50naira.They went on with this act without anyone suspecting them until one day,luck ran out on them. It was on monday morning about 10:30am,Ade went as usual and drop 5naira into the beggars plate.But unknown to Ade,the beggar was not really blind.He delibrately close his eyes and pretended to be blind.When he noticed the movement of Ade and Silas he opened his eyes and grabbed Ade's arm while he was trying to steal his money.The beggar shouted on top his voice ''thief! thief thief ooo!

continuation--- ''people around were suprised and gathered at the scene.They asked the beggar what the matter was,the beggar explained to them how he caught the boy stealing his money from the plate. Ade who has already dropped the money began to deny,telling alot of lies to everybody's suprise.The beggar swore that he saw Ade stealing his money,Silas was quick to reply pointing at the beggar menancingly ''How can you see my friend stealing your money when you are blind?.'' The beggar came to himself immediately and suddenly closed his eyes.The people that gathered at the scene observed his trick and were infuriated.They began to beat him and other beggars around the school. There was confusion as the beggars began to lament over their predicament crying and shouting,begging not to be killed.The police were quick to action to save the life of the beggars.They quickly arrested the beggar and Ade and took them to the station.The beggar was charge for obtaining money by tricks,Ade was kept behind canter

Episode 4 The case was reported to king Jomo Ematauwa,The obi 1 of umuolo.The king was very sad.He dislike the way they embarass people along the streets.The king was about delibrating with his council of elders when another miscievous attitudes of the beggars was presented to him On tuesday afternoon,ojiugo the wife of Innocent ibe came to umuolo main market to buy christmas items for the family.As she was passing through the new market road,she met a group of beggars many of them were blind.She handed out 5naira notes to many of them when she finished buying what she came to buy,she decided to leave because her journey home will last for two hours. Mr innocent ibe was among the beggars ojiugo gave money in the morning but his wife ojiugo did not know.His family did not know that he was begging in the town of umuolo. mr.ibe and his family lived in a good house in the small town of Iyale which is about 150km from the city.He spent only the weekend with his family.

Mr.Ibe has two sons and three daughters and all members of the family believed that their father was working in one of the morden factories in the city of umoulo. mr.ibe was a lazy man and loved begging.He was making alot of cash from the business of begging.He rent a room in a house near to the market.Every morning he would hold a stick and close his eyes.He used the stick to find his way since he had no man to lead him.Sometimes he would open his eyes halfway to find his way.People who saw him thought that he was blind.He usually sat by the side of new market road and beg for money. Sometimes he went back home early around 1pm or 2pm.He went home early especially on sunny days when the sun was high. On every weekend, mr.Ibe would wash himself,pack his beggar's clothes,and sneak to his house at Iyale. On this very tuesday,mr ibe closed his business for the day at 1:45pm.When he came home,he want to prepare food. He opened the window to throw away some refuse when mrs.ojiugo ibe saw him

episode 5 Ojiugo who was tired and longing to see her husband,on seeing mr.ibe was full of joy.mr.ibe on seeing her immediately closed the window.ojiugo ran to the house in joy.she saw mr udale who was the landlord of the house.mr udale asked her what she wanted.she said ''Can i see mr ibe? mr udale replied ''they is nobody called mr ibe in my house. But she insisted that she saw mr ibe,she said '' I saw him look out of the window na''. mr udale said that the tenant living in the room whose window she pointed at was not mr. ibe but was mr.Okafor a blind beggar. She turned to go back but change her mind and quickly ran to the room from where the man looked out of window.As she was going to enter the room,she heard a sound. she then suspected another foul play.Something has been dropped from the window into the refuse bin. Mr ibe who dropped the thing went back to bed and lay down as if he was sick.On seeing his wife he PRETENDED as if he was sick.he told her that he was sick and could not say at office.

She remembered giving a beggar wearing those cloth in the morning 5naira.She new tha mr ibe was up to some foul play.She looked around the room and found a beggar's stick. she then knew that the begger she gave money in the morning was her husband.She was very angry.She asked him why he made himself a beggar when he was whole and not blind.He wanted to pretend that he did not know what she was saying. she became more angry and pick up the stick and hit mr ibe.**COOLVAL.COM**. He ran out out of the room.she ran after him shouting. ''thief,thief,false beggar,liar,shameless beggar.'' As she shouted,people who knew him as blind beggar saw him, they were all suprised.They took mr ibe to the police station.He was lock up in the police cell THE NEWS ALSO GOT TO THE KING. TBC

Episode 6 The king was astonished over the report he received about mr.Ibe.He decided to send his men to find out the truth about the whole matter from the policemen,As they were about to leave,for the station,a young man ran into the king palace.His breath was like that of a man who escaped death by inches from a wild pig. ''O king live forever''. he said breathleslly as he prostated.the king asked the young man what the matter was ''i can see blood and serious crises enveloping the land.'' ''Where is the blood and wars too cannot be fought without the city kowing,xpecially my men''.King jomo stated. He saw the fright in the eyes of the young man then he ordered that the young man be given water and allowed to rest. After about 5mins,the young man started his story. ''O king,i was an eye witness,a man from anyigba came to our town umuolo to buy some things for his family.When he saw his kinsman who pretended to be a beggar. --------- STAY TUNED

He saw him with a group of beggars.this man ran to him and called him by his name. ''okey!, there was no answer. ''Okechukwu!!.'' still no answer,the beggar pretended to be deaf and dumb.The young man shouted. ''is this not the okey i saw the day b4 yesterday?.Yes, on sunday at mama put restaurant'.No this must not be Okey.he was not deaf or dumb. ''we discussed last sunday,he told me he will be leaving on monday to resume duty at his company.'' As he wanted to leave,one of the traders asked him what the matter was.He replied ''this beggar resemble one of my kinsmen.'' the boy told him to look at him again that it maybe him as most beggars are fake. The man looked again ''i am sure this Okechukwu but what made him deaf and dumb overnight.'' So the trader said he should prove if it was the right person. Episode 6 All the traders rushed out and started beating the man,for they now knew that he was not deaf or dumb.The most suprising thing was that when the beggar shouted for help,all the other beggars joined him and there was serious fighting between the beggars and the traders. The beggars who we thought were blind,deaf dumb or even mad,were not what they claimed they are.the fight is still on till i left for your palace. The king was highly annoyed and shouted, ''these beggars are in our flesh.These beggars are liars,they are dupes and cheats. One of the king's servant told the king his own experience with a beggar. ''Oh king live forever i kow this beggar in the bus.He always shared cards to passengers.The card is written. ''I AM DEAF AND DUMB,PLEASE HELP ME'' He always made alot of money.so one day i met him at a CYBER CAFE where i went to print my wedding invitation.,he had just come to reprint his beggar's card.So i saw him discussing with the manager of the CAFEL.

episode contintinues He was even haggling over the price with him and was also shouting.i asked him '' i thought you are a deaf and dumb beggar,how come you talk's now?'' but the beggar gave me a serious warning to mind my business.So i came to know that these beggars are fake's and liar's. the king was highly annoyed after hearing all these and decided to do something to see that the nefarious activities of beggars were stopped. The king sent for all the chiefs for a serious meeting over what the city is turning to.He told them what he heard about the beggar's and their penchant of cheating people.They agreed to do something befor a handshake gets to the elbow. They agreed that Ade should be released. They wanted to know the king reaction to this. ''As you can see,the king stated, ''Ade is just a ten years old and the beggar was a cheat and liar,moreover Ade has been beaten by the people and police so its a good reason to release him----------------------- TBC

Episode 7 After his reasons,they also agreed that the fake blind beggar be charged to court and if possible sentenced to life impronsement. After the meeting,the king and his men went to the police station and Ade was released.He was warned never to indulge in any act of such nature again.His parent's were advised to give their son a good home training. King jomo gave instructions and gave to the town crier to announced to the people that there will not be any business on the following day. that every person including strangers should gather at the town square. On wednesday all the people gathered at the town square.the police brought all the beggar's who ere arrested in one place or the other,including mr ibe. the king began his speech after greeting the people.: My good people of umoulo,whenever the wind blow we see the anus of the fowl.

What happened yesterday in many places in this town shows man wickedness to his fellow men''. He then stood up from his seat and shouted in anger ''beggars are sponge in our town.They do not produce.I hate them because of their tricks.To work is better than beg. Men should work and not beg.A man should grow corn,yam,rice,beans etc.A man should learn trade like capentry,tailorin and so on -------! TBC
