I was on my way home from the mosque while my
sister was telling me what my mum saw in my
room. "what?!, you mean a snake in the bed i slept
on b4 i left for mosque? So, i slept with a snake in the same bed. Morogo, ejo ke." I said with a scary
voice. "besides, how did it get in?" I asked, feeling
unsettled. Sincerely, i was scared.
.
When i got home, my mum told me exactly the
same thing, explaining to me how it actually happened. I just stood still reminiscing about the
sweet dreams i had, how i was tossing and turning
in bed all night and at the same time, thinking of
what to do. Then i went for my brothers, i told them
the same thing, how my mum and sister did. They
were both surprised. "Well, what next?" I asked; we all went for different things to kill the snake.
.
On getting to the doorway, we couldnt move.
Looking at one another, and asking who has the
courage to make the first move. My mum said, "chai,
see the children o, and you call urself Arogunmasa. I think the snake has moved to a corner, go in and
kill it o or do you want it to stay in your room till
forever?". To be sincere, we were all scare. We were
told the size of the snake's big and long. We were
still at the doorway waiting for a miracle to happen.
In that same minute, when everywhere was silent, everyone scared, in fact, we could hear our
heartbeats, then my mum said, "April Fool!". I
couldnt believe my ears. I was laughing and
sweating profusely at the same time. I couldnt stop
myself from laughing, it was a funny morning
indeed. Arogunmasa! lol..., I am fearless o. If no be say we plenty for there. if na only me dey dere, i for
don enter o to kill the snake sha. Happy new month
buddies...
