YBNL CEO, Olamide has written an open letter to his fans appreciating them for their support and love, while also addressing some industry issues.
In an emotional open letter posted on his Instagram page late Monday to his fans worldwide, multi-award winning Nigerian hip hop star, Olamide Adedeji, known by his stage name Olamide, says he’s living his dreams in spite of the music industry vultures who tried to kill his shine.
The indigenous rapper, from Bariga, Lagos State who is popularly called Olamide Baddo, talked about his early days in the industry and reminisced of when he was accused of stealing the style of Dagrin, the progenitor of indenous rap.
The yoruba superstar appreciated his millions of fans for their support thus far and he also addressed some industry issues, particularly the fame and glory associated with winning awards.
Below is the open letter in full;
