UMIDIGI A3 has finally been launched, after an enduring bout of leaks and rumours. The device feature comes in a 5.5-inch screen coupled with 18:9 full-screen display. It also has Face unlock support and pretty much advanced dual camera system. Let’s find out more.

UMIDIGI A3 DESIGN & DISPLAY
UMIDIGI A3 sports a very attractive design polished with a premium metallic material. The metal unibody frame supports a 2.5D curved glass on both sides, an amazing feat on a budget device.
The phone is capable of withstanding heavy use thanks to its metallic body. In addition, it comes with a face unlock supports which gives easy access to the phone unlock. It is available in 2 colours, gold and space grey.
UMIDIGI A3 HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
Under the hood, the phone is stroked by a MediaTek M6739 Quad-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz. Graphics is juiced by a IMG 8XE 1PPC processor running at 570MHz GPU.
For multitasking, it has a 2GB RAM space as well as an internal storage of 16GB. This is upgradeable up to 128GB using a memory card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

The camera features on the UMIDIGI A3 are very impressive for a budget smartphone, featuring a 12MP dual camera setup that has a f/2.0 aperture, 1.12 μm pixels, 1/2.8’’ large optical sensor size with an OV12870 sensor. The secondary 5-MP competes the dual setup and helps to create a illusive bokeh effect. The front camera carries an 8MP shooter for beautiful selfies. It also supports face unlock.
