THE HALF OF ME{somewhere and near me}Chapter 1 (The kiss)Before i took the surgery , Xander kissed me. It happened to be my first kiss, and not really how i wanted to have my first kiss and especially not in a hospital, lying on a sick bed. * * * *I am Michelle and this is my story . * * * *It was February 3rd my sister(Ella)'s birthday. On this day, i felt ill and she took me to the hospital. But the thing i didn't want is for her to be stuck in a hospital with me when she suppose to be buoyant on her day. I told her to leave, but she called Xander(my friend), so he can stay with me to keep me company. Xander happened to be my sister (Ella)'s boyfriend younger brother.
When Xander got to the hospital, he met a nurse and asked her where he can find me. The nurse gave him the route to follow. He came into the room i were, he looked at me, and was sad because i looked sick. But i gazed at him and was happy to see him. He sat close and smiled while holding my hands. I asked him if he brought any game so we won't be bored, but he said he didn't, but we can play another game, i asked which game?, he said Truth and dare. I laughed because because that game was too indiscreet. We started the game, and he asked me how was my first kiss like. I didn't respond, but he took my silence to be something beyond telling. Well he misunderstood my silence but i had to tell him the reason for my silences. I told him i haven't had my first kiss yet. He was stunned, and he said '' for a girl like you, it's stupendous.
As we were talking, the nurse came in and said needs to draw my blood for the test. I was a bit frightened because i didn't think about the part were needle will have to go through my vain and B.T.W, i hate needles. So while i was lamenting about the thought of how i was going to feel the needle passing through my vain , the nurse interrupted my loud thought s by saying '' should i call your Mom? And i said No!, i can handle it and am not a baby. As she uncover the injection, i stared at it and all i can think of is the injection extracting my blood. Xander noticed that i was too stressed out because of the needle so he used his palms to turn my face to his, and the next thing i knew was that we were snogging. I didn't even know when the injection got into my vain and came out, all i heard after was the nurse saying '' am done'', and i adjusted myself away from Xander.
* * * * * After the surgery, i asked the doctor to call Xander. The doctor went to the waiting room and ask who is Xander?, he pointed himself out and the Dr said ''the patient wants to see you''. My whole family was also in the waiting room waiting to go inside the room to see me. But when my mom heard the Dr calling out for Xander first, she became unhappy because Xander wasn't part of our family, 'i want to go in there first' she said, but the doctor said you can't, because you can endanger her life. My mom was surprise to hear the doctor say that, so she asked him, ''who is Michelle's mother''. The Dr said ''you madam'' and my mom replied by saying so how can i endanger my own child's life? Then the doctor said 'madam you were not permitted in first that is to say the patient does not want you in there yet'.
