I must find my way home,
to a desolate land
wasted and polluted by man
and his deforestation
I must find my way home,
to a land of peace and serenity
where the birds chirp
and sing in the beauty
of the dawn
O' I must find my way home
to a land where
I will shelter
under the canopies
of the ageless musizi
and reminisce on the days
when home was full of life
and boisterous activities,
before humans destroyed my roots
O' I must find my way home,
I am an endangered specie
the last of its kind
treading on dangerous grounds,
to a desolate habitation
where I once called home
and I shall retrace my steps
to unite with my ancestors
