When life gets tough and it seems like you cannot keep up with all the demands, which is one time when people crack under pressure. Meditation is a method of relaxation that helps to keep your mind and your body relaxed and calm, and every one of us should meditate at least once a week to restore balance after a crazy working wee.
Some people think meditation is all chanting and incense, but it can actually be done by anyone who has access to a quiet place and time as short as fifteen minutes.

Don’t know how to start?

• First, find somewhere quiet, where you very sure not to be disturbed for at least half an hour. Maybe less, if you are very busy.

• Sit down in a posture that is comfortable for you, and close your eyes.

• You can put on some calming music if you like.

• Breathe deeply; take deep breaths from your stomach and expel them slowly through your mouth. Keep breathing deeply, very slowly.

• Starting with your feet, tense and release the muscles of your body one at a time.

• You can visualize somewhere peaceful and beautiful like a quiet beach with freshwater waves and citrus smells in the air, and place yourself there.

• You can also focus on a thought, or a bible verse, and hold it in your mind while thinking about it deeply.

If you sleep off while meditating, it is perfectly okay. You will find that you are better relaxed, refreshed and happier after each session.
