I bet no one has ever thought of this before or even know why it is 'Hello' you are saying and not your name first. I just even stumbled on the post or let me say the picture. Now everyone here do not lie, you grew up to say hello to every phone calls. Now this is why you, your parents, your grandparents, your great great grandparents, your great great great grandparents who has ever used phone said 'Hello' into the phone first when you make a call or when a call comes in. Even some past people who have used phone don't know this.
Here is the history.

Where do I start ? It was a love a man had for his girlfriend or let me say 'woman' that made everyone to be saying 'hello' today. Who invented telephone ? Alexandra Graham Bell if I am right.
A nice information: When you lift the phone to say 'hello', do you know the real meaning of hello ....? It is the name of a girl ...! & do you know who that girl is .....? Magaret Hello. She was the girlfriend of Graham Bell who invented the telephone.
After Graham Bell invented the phone successfully, the first word he said to it was 'hello'. Then the practice and process of starting the call with hello continued. One can forget the name of Graham Bell but not the name of his girlfriend.....! That is LOVE
