Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus is yet another launch from the tech giant, released alongside the J4 Plus. It is an upgrade to the Samsung J6 released few months ago.

It features a dual rear camera setup, and is powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset Dr Qualcomm.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus reels our in a plastic body design. It has its dual rear shooters positioned at the top middle with its LED flash by the right side. The fingerprint scanner is located awkwardly at the right edge of the device. The Samsung logo sits gloriously at the center. It is available in three colors; Black, Gray and Red. In thickness, it measures 7.9mm and weighs 178g generally.


The front display shows a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and 274 ppi density. It has a 74.09% screen-to-body ratio.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The hardware compartment is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset, run on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. Graphics is handled by a Adreno 308 graphics processor.

For RAM and storage, it comes in two variants. There is a 4GB RAM / 64GB internal storage version as well as a cheaper 3GB RAM / 32GB internal storage version. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

CAMERA
Photography here is just regular, sporting a dual rear camera setup of 13MP + 5MP shooters with LED flash. Thee front camera supports an 8MP selfie shooter which has a LED flash and f/1.9 aperture.

BATTERY
The Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus is powered by a non-removable 3300mAh battery with no fast charge tech.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

・Price $249 – $299, which is around N85,000 to N100,000 in Nigeria.
