Imagine...
You are walking in a forest, and a lion identifies you
as its prey. It begins chasing you, as any lion would
do, and you begin to flee even if you know that
you cannot match its speed, as any man would do.
You go through a path that is full of thickets, hoping to identify a tree you could climb as quickly
as necessary to save your life. As the lion follows
you, it gets caught up in one thicket. Fortunate on
unfortunate, the thicket has thorns and a large
thorn goes right through the lion's chest. Since it
was coming in full speed, the thorn penetrates deep enough to take the lion's life.
Just then, some people who heard the disaster
going on come rushing intending to save your life.
You have heard the lion's death scream and you
are now seated gasping for breath. The rescue
team stares at you astonished and exclaim, ''You killed the lion?!!''
What is the immediate response that comes to your
mind?
1. Yes l killed it.
2. Actually l went through the thicket coz l knew
how it could die, l did not necessarily kill it with my hands.
3. No, this is a surprise to me as it is to you, l did not
kill the lion.
