The United Arab Emirates has
appointed a 22-year-old to a
ministerial post overseeing youth
affairs in a Cabinet shake-up
designed to inject fresh thinking
into the oil-rich country's government. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum announced his new
Cabinet in a series of Twitter
posts Wednesday evening. Oxford University master's
degree holder Shamma al-Mazrui
was named minister of state for
youth affairs, one of seven
women named to ministerial
posts.
