A young girl came to my pharmaceutical store yesterday to ask for prostonior (it is a contraceptive tablet,it happen to be the most dangerous among it's type and Nafdac didn't approve it). I don't sell it, but I was wondering what she wants it for, which made me ask how old she is. She told me she is 15, I decided to engage her in a conversation....
15 years old Princess has a boyfriend of 20years, she believe she loves him and he loves her too.
Two weeks ago, her boyfriend threatened to break up with her, if she didn't allow him to have sex with her... They have argued about the issue several times and when the break up threat came she accepted... She can't afford to loose him because he his her best-friend, the only one who gives her listening ears.
She hasn't seen her period for 3days now,she was scared she is pregnant and her so called boyfriend advice her to come to the pharmacy to buy the tablet...
I asked her few questions and it happened that she only sees her dad on sundays, he's a nag so she can't talk to him...
Her mother calls her a talkative whenever she want to raise up an issue, she is a business woman...
Her only sister is in higher institution, so she doesn't have any one to talk to when the issue is disturbing her mind......
I was hurt... I wonder what the poor girl is going through.... Although I was able to take her to the hospital for scans and check up... Luckily she is not pregnant.... Many teenagers are lost spiritually, emotionally, socially, infact academically due to parental carelessness, their excuse is always the nature of their job....

Now my question......
Who do you think is in the best position in the family to give parental guidance to the children?
(80% of members here are singles... I guess) so...
That job you are doing now or the job you are looking forward to do in future, do you think it can give you enough time to care for your family?
Are you planning your family life along side your life to fit in it or you are just planning your life alone?
