Season 2 Episode 1 :::::….:::::….::::: {CONTINUED FROM THE LAST EPISODE OF SEASON 1} ****** LOCATION: COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL . “Sir, my son is innocent on this matter, he knew nothing about the rape incident. I know he is stubborn and troublesome but I trust him he can’t do such a… ” Mr. Chorus begged with eyes shook with tears. “Cut the crap you this heartless man. Your son is innocent indeed. Are they not sheep in goat’s clothing? So you can plead on behalf of your son, whereas, you never show up for once to check on those two boys that are in our custody you’re so heartless and selfish. Now that your son is involved you’re telling me trash. Officers!” The warrant officer who leaded the team to the school blasted and enunciated plausibly. “Sir!” Recruit Audu and Corporal Martins answered and they saluted professionally. “Mr. man, where is the boy classroom?” The warrant officer asked dejected Mr. Chorus. “His class is behind this building.” Mr. Chorus replied pointing with his index finger at a building that is in blocks with the catering classroom. “Audu and Martins, take him along with you to the boy class and you must make sure you apprehend that idiot.” The Warrant officer concluded and Audu and Martins saluted as they turned to leave. “Move… walahi if you no wake fast I go do am for you.” Officer Audu barked at Mr. Chorus who was now stunned. Mr. Chorus sluggishly turned 90 degree and he leaded the way to Leo’s classroom. * (LEO’S CLASSROOM) “On stand, greet…” A female student called the attention of other students but she was restrained from coming down with her statement as Mr. Chorus barged in. “Please hold you greetings. Where is Leo?” Mr. Chorus asked unwillingly. “Leo and his gangs left the classroom some minutes ago.” A male student replied from the back seat of the second row. “I guess they are in their territory.” The student finalized confidently. “Territory? As in I don’t understand… okay, can you take us there?” Mr. Chorus asked bewildered. “Me? I can’t go there sir, that place is out of bound for ordinary student like me.” The boy rebutted assertively. “You know the place, right?” Corporal Martins asked with some kind of husky voice. “Yes sir but…” The boy replied but unfinished with sad impression on his face. . “Don’t worry nothing will happen to you.” Corporal martins assured. “Please take us to the place.” Corporal Martins finalized smiling. “Okay sir.” The male student submitted. He walked sluggishly and uninterestingly to the front of the classroom. “Now let go.” Corporal Martins concluded as they left the classroom for Leo’s territory. * “What is your name?” Corporal Martins asked the boy as they walk along the shallow bush that lead to the school poultry and fish pond. “Ste…ve… s..ir.” The boy answered stammering. “Stop being coward Steve, you’re a man… beside we are here with you, so trust me nothing bad is going to happen to you.” Corporal Martins cautioned and assured unflinchingly. “Thank you sir, it’s not that I’m coward but Leo and his friends belongs to a deadly cult group called Bravura Demolisher…” Steve defended but was restrained from concluding his statement. “Cult?” Mr. Chorus and Corporal Martins sighed in disbelief. “Walahi finpipal, if you no walk fast I go shot am for leg.” Recruit Audu threatened Mr. Chorus who was shambling slowly. “You mean Leo and his friend are cultist?” Corporal Martins asked in disbelief. “Absolutely sir… and I fear…” Steve answered but unfinished. “Disgusting! Cultism in secondary school not even tertiary institution again.” Corporal Martins voiced out serenely. “Bravura Demolisher is the deadliest cult group in this country. Rumors carries it that the members of the secret cult works for politicians. Bravura Demolisher dominates almost every institution in this country. I’m surprised that they now have branches in secondary schools.” Corporal Martins elucidated. “But Steve, are you sure of what you are saying?” Corporal Martins asked, just then the beep of his phone could be heard. “Oh! A message from the warrant officer.” Corporal Martins uttered, without a second thought he opened the message and he was really horrified of what he read. He couldn’t believe his eyes, he washed his face with his left hand and he read over and over again but that doesn’t change anything from the texts. “What’s it sir?” Steve asked suspiciously. “The warrant officer told me to leave those boys, he wrote in the message that they are innocent and they know nothing about the rape incident that happened in the school recently.” Corporal Martins announced but he is purposely directing his statement to Steve. Steve was shocked, he looked at Corporal Martins with eyes shook with tears, he felt like the ground should just open up and swallow him because he knew he will later regret his stupid action which was born out of his stupidity. “Thank you Jesus. I told you my son is innocent, isn’t that obvious now?” Mr. Chorus announced with smile all over his face. “I don’t believe that your son is innocent Mr. Man, I know there is a mix-up somewhere and I am telling you that we are coming back for that cultist and assassin very soon.” Corporal Martins uttered dejectedly but angrily. “Walahi, our ogas for barrack don dey craze, I no say na them work be this.” Recruit Audu voiced out angrily but not literarily. “Sir, please I’m begging you, apprehend Leo and his comrades now, I don’t want to lose my life after losing that of my father in their hands… please sir I’m begging you, I am still breathing because I hungry to avenge the death of my innocent father. Season 2 Episode 2 :::::….:::::….::::: {CONTINUED FROM THE LAST EPISODE} . “Sir, please I’m begging you, apprehend Leo and his gang now, I don’t want to lose my life after losing that of my father in their hands… please sir I’m begging you, I am still breathing because I am really hungry to avenge the death of my innocent father. The pains and suffering him and his gangs caused on my family is irremediable. Yes, I could vividly evoke the way he spoke on that very night, the mewling of my rare father, the unwillingly moaning and whimpering of my lovely sister and the yelling of my dearest mother. Yes! It happened that I was inside the toilet when I heard the screaming of my sister, I wanted to barge out of the toilet so as to know what is happening, I was about unlocking the door when I heard the husky voice of one of the assassins, threatening my mother who was sitting on her wheelchair with the gun he was holding. I thought of coming out the toilet to confront them but I gave it a second thought. My phone wasn’t with me so I was unable to call the Law Enforcement Agency. My father was an influential businessman during his life time. He was very rich. Rich? Slip of tongue. Wealthy I mean. We live in affluence and riches. My sister, Adaeze and I are the only surviving children of my parent. Adaeze popularly call Ada is my immediate sister, we play all night, we do things together, and we really love each other. My love for Adaeze is so deep that I can’t trade her for anything, anything I mean. “Oboy, this girl is sweet o.” Jeff, Leo’s friend mentioned and his statement called the attentions of the remaining four assassins plus Leo. “Yes o, she is sweet and irresistible.” Leo answered with smile all over his face. Father dropped dead instantly and Leo and the other left the house. My mother couldn’t do anything, she was helpless and weak. She couldn’t cry, she was just looking at my ghost father without even blinking her eyes. Adaeze rolled on the floor, she yelled and cried out loud, her virginity was taken from her by unknown men. Her father was also killed by assassins. What a pity!” Steve pause his narration as tears dropped freely from his eyes. . “Steve, don’t worry I know how you feel…” Corporal Martins consoled as he shook his head pity. “The following day of the attack, father’s family came to our house, instead of them to consoled us, rather, they talked about my father’s properties all through, how it will be shared and everything. Two weeks later father’s family came to our house and we were told to vacate the house that they can’t shelter bastards. Officer, you see the pains and suffering Leo and his gang caused on my family. An irredeemable suffering, an ever-lasting pains, they had committed the gravest sin in my life and they had committed an unforgivable sin which they must pay for, even if I am to sacrifice my life.” Steve concluded with tears in his eyes. Corporal Martins moved closer to him and he hugged him delightfully. “Steve, I vow with my life that justice will prevail. No, justice must prevail… I don’t mind anything I don’t want to know those that are involved in this, their statues, power and anything, I don’t want to know; the guilty must pay for their sins, the criminals won’t go scot-free.” Corporal Martins vowed as he slowly disengaged from Steve. “A criminal was born out of a criminal… bed of the same feather flocks together, father to a criminal please move.” Corporal Martins uttered in parable directing his statement to puzzled Mr. Chorus. * LOCATION: GENERAL HOSPITAL (DOCTOR’S OFFICE) . “Amnesia?” Chief Chris sighed motionlessly. “Yes Chief…” The Doctor replied but unfinished. “You mean she can’t remember things that happened to her recently?” Chief Chris asked befuddled. “Perhaps sir…” The Doctor replied. “Perhaps? By the way, does she have any chance of regaining her lost memory?” Chief Chris asked impatiently. “Hmmm… yes, but to regain her lost memory it won’t take nothing less than six months.” The Doctor announced with cheerless impression glooming on his face. “Six months?” Chief Chris sighed. “Yes… and that’s if she is lucky because she has 50-50 chance of surviving.” The Doctor elucidated as he closed the file he was checking. “What could have caused this Amnesia of a thing?” Chief Chris soliloquized silently. “It maybe from the shock she experienced during the incident but I sense it is because of the injuries she sustain on her head.” The Doctor explained. Chief Chris fixed his gazed at the doctor and the doctor did same. “They will surely rot in jail.” Chief Chris uttered angrily as he rose on his feet to leave. “Chief, please be more sensitive on this matter, take things easy so that you won’t regret in the end.” The Doctor cautioned as he griped his stethoscope. “What do you mean Emma?” The chief asked angrily with some kind of husky voice. “I don’t mean anything sir, I just advice you as your family doctor.” Doctor Emma returned faking a smile. “Better…” The Chief concluded as led the way out of the doctor’s office. * LOCATION: ARMY BARRACK (BARRACK WALFARE) . “Daniel, please stop crying…” I, Ola cautioned with eyes soak with tears. “Few months ago, mother narrated how father spent his life, how they met and how things work well for them. She told me that father was a soldier, a high ranked soldier to be precise. She said father was a loyal and honest soldier during his life time, he dislike and doesn’t stand for injustice, he doesn’t take bribes and he doesn’t work for politicians, he is satisfied with his salary and his salary only. She said I was just two months old when she was called that father is dead. She rushed to the barrack and she was told that a fellow soldier assassinated him in his office. She told me that she later found out the truth and she knew the person that killed my father but she never told me the name of the person not even any information about the culprit who murdered my father. Now I’m now an orphan. Ola, I will find out the trust and I will avenge the death of my parent because I am very sure mother was killed, her death isn’t natural.” Daniel narrated and concluded brilliantly. “What a world of injustice! But Daniel you have my mother, don’t see yourself as an orphan.” I sighed and consoled heavy-heartedly. “Listen to yourself Ola… you said I have your mother, but she isn’t mine?” Daniel barked loudly and I looked at him in dismay. . The soldier moved closer to Daniel, he offered a plateful of rice to him, but to my utmost surprise, Daniel kick the food and it decant on the floor. The soldier landed a thunderous slap on Daniel’s cheek but trust me, Daniel tried to fight back, he pushed the soldier against the wall and the soldier hit his head against the wall, he groaned in pain and he quickly rose on his feet and he ran out of the welfare. Daniel laughed hysterically and I was more confused. “Daniel, you shouldn’t have done that… do you know the penalty of what you have done?” I voiced out fearfully. “Ola, if I didn’t do what I did, I won’t get this.” Daniel replied and he showed me a bunch of key. . Daniel looked out from the small window, he smiled and he turned back to me. “Ola, don’t worry I will steal those cloths on the wire.” Daniel said pointing to some cloths hanged on a long wire. “Hmmm… I will have to go out and get the cloths, you’ll stay here and wait for me, and we’re going to dress here before we start out mission.” Daniel suggested, he walked to the small gate and he opened it silently. “Have the key.” Daniel said and he handed to me the bunch of key. Daniel woke up, his hands were now loose and unshackled. “Brother!” Daniel sighed smiling. “Daniel, it’s been a long time.” The self-acclaimed assassin replied. “We thought you are dead, but where have you been all this while?” Daniel paused confusingly. “Henry, we miss you a lot, mother miss you more.” Daniel concluded with eyes soak with tears, he spread his arms and Henry hugged him passionately. “I miss you guys more.” Henry riposted with tears in his eyes. “Henry, hope there’s nothing wrong with Ola?” Daniel asked as he wiped away the tears in his eyes. “He is fine, he has even woke up some minutes ago, though he is very weak and exhausted.” Henry replied. “Oh… please where is this?” Daniel asked confusingly. “Hmmm… I name this place ‘Demolisher Coven’, this is where I live.” Henry responded suspiciously. “Hope there is no problem?” Henry continued. “Not really, but I’m just surprise how I got here, the last thing I remember is that, I was shot by an enraged soldier and I fell from the crest of the mountain, and that is all I could remember.” Daniel responded confusingly. “Don’t worry, everything will be alright…” Henry assured, he was about concluding his statement when they heard my footstep. . . “Ola, you’re awake.” Daniel began, he rose from the bed and he hugged me tightly. “Daniel, thank God you’re alive… I though you’re going to die.” I voiced out as tears dropped from freely from my eyes, we disengaged and I faced Henry. “Sir please, we’re weak, we know we can’t fight you, can you please allow us to leave here?” I begged weakly. “Don’t worry, I will fight him and I’ll triumph.” Daniel whispered and he showed his fist. “Daniel, you can’t fight him, he is very good at fighting… I guess he is an assassin.” I whispered into Daniel’s ear while looking at Henry. “Don’t worry, I will fight him, he is too small for me, I will surely beat him.” Daniel assured and he laughed hysterically. “Daniel, you’ve really change, only your look remain the same, though, you’re now mature and more sensible. How is she?” Daniel asked unhappily. “I saw her at the red cap soldier’s territory; there, she’s receiving the beating and torturing of her life, I don’t know her crime but I know the soldiers are totally unfriendly to her.” I elucidated sobbingly. “But father was once a soldier, mother told me he was dismissed and murdered by some soldiers that conspired against him; I don’t know what his crime is that mother has to be punished for his misdeed.” Daniel uttered angrily. “Dan, this is not the time for this, I once heard father was a soldier but I was in the dark side of the whole story back then when I was in SS 1.” Henry cautioned and paused. “How’re we going to rescue mother? He dipped his hand into a pocket of his jean trouser, he brought out his Tecno w3, he scrolled through the contacts and he was able to fetch out the number, he dialed the number and it rang but it wasn’t picked, he tried the number over and over again, but all effort to reach him proved abortive. “Why is he not picking my number? He placed the mini laptop on the rectangle-shaped table. “Now let get down to business, here is my flash.” Mr. Martins voiced out, he dipped his hand into his pocket and he brought out a flash drive, he handed over the flash to Mr. Anume. “Sure…” Mr. Anume uttered, he powered on the system and in less than a minute it booted to the startup menu. He thought for a while and he brought out his phone and he strolled through the numbers, he dialed a number saved with ‘inspector felix’ and it was picked. In less than five minutes, a van full of policemen alighted from the van, no siren blowing. The tactically made it into the house and they successfully apprehend the criminals. “Move!” A Corporal barked at a stubborn assassin. “Oga no push me jare.” The assassin riposted in Pidgin English. “Thank you very much officer, maybe I would have be a ghost by now if you’d not come to y rescue on time.” Mr. Anume appreciated. “It’s our duty… police is your friend and have that in mind.” Mr. Felix replied as he shook hand with Mr. Martins and Mr. Anume. She used a piece of her exhausted bedsheet to wipe away the tears in her eyes, she jumped down from the bed and she angrily slammed the door behind herself.
