Home and away was a slang we used in our Class to refer to double failure. First of all, “Home” means if a lecturer is handling two Courses (1st and 2nd semester) and you fail the first semester course, that means; “the Lecturer don nak u home”. If you fail the second semester course, that means; “the Lecturer don nak u away”. But if u fail both courses, that means; “the Lecturer don nak u home and away”. In my case, the lecturer “nak” me home and away,stc 211 and Stp 124. “u get where u go dey stay?” i asked Vickid . “i no get oh, i go dey come from OHAFIA , i go dey come once in a week” He responded. “me i dey stay with my cousin for railway , i go dey come anytime wey dem get lecture oh, u no say that Prof wicked, and him dey serious with attendance” I said. “him suppose consider us wey be spill over students na” Vickid said. “u no know that man, set before our set wey get spill over dey come lecture, na God go save us oh” I said as we walked out of the sch compound. “guy find me even if na 200 bucks make i take enter bus go railway na” I said. “take, manage am, na 50 bucks i get” Vickid said offering me a worn out 50naira note. “u don try, u be correct man, half loaf of Agege bread is better than chin-chin” i said as i collected the money. If there was one thing i seriously lacked lately, that thing was Money. Even 50naira was a huge amout of money to me. I “anchored” Vickid and walked slowly to where i would board a bus. Our inter house sport was spoiled because of those idiot, that my class mate never returned again, my Mom promised to change school for me because of that but i never buy the idea cos i love my guys, we started together. I gave her reasons for me to stay but she didn't give a hearing ear to my reasons, i was sad for few Weeks before i forgot about the issues . school day still continued but i was not happy cos i will be leaving soon,i discussed it will my real niggas the was silence in our midst,True True i will miss them,it pains to leave people that makes you happy, I love my class, we have matured boys and girls,we do curse each other and laugh together,.. .............. ......... ..... .... I was changing clothes when he received a call telling them am in his compound, he even informed them to come quickly and carry me. I left the house without his notice. I follow through his backyard and headed straight to my house. I met the house empty, so I rushed to kitchen searching for food but Couldn't fine any. I was still searching for food when I heard noises outside. I saw different group holding striker, I watched them as the beat striker, I felt pity for him as the blow and blow him. I felt the pains like it was me who was been beaten. I was watching till the man on black brought out a pistol and shot striker twice. Noooooo "I screamed and woke up ".
