If you are a follower on this blog, you must have noticed my recent post where MTN increased the price of SME data plans.
Well just after increasing the price of SME data plans, MTN has gone a mile further to do something unbelievable.
MTN has surprisingly reduced the price of its night data plans down to over 1/4 worth of data for the same N25 price.
This will come as a big shock to Nigerians, especially students who usually use the night plan to download movies, music and other files they want to.
As far as I am concerned, this reduction is a big no for MTN as this will drive a lot of people over to rival Nigerian network providers who offer cheaper night data plans such as Airtel.
I don’t know if MTN is going broke or something, hence their recent reduction in data worth and increase in price for SME data. However, that is their problem as I am already planning on moving to Airtel for night plans.
Here is an official text message from MTN sent via SMS to all subscribers;
“Y’ello! When you buy the Pulse Night plan at N25 from 16/08/2018, you now get 125MB. You also get 250MB for N50 and can make multiple purchases. Dial *406# to buy.”
Oh lest I forget. This changed are already effective, starting from the 16th of August, 2018. Now, you get to purchase 125MB for N25 and 250MB for N50. If you want, you can make multiple subscriptions as much as you want in the same night.
