[b]Good day Coolvallers. Thanks for making time out of no time to be present here at this very moment. Truth be told, I am highly honored. As most of you already know, I am DANJUMA, Ele-ojo John popular known as Ele1 on Coolval22.com.
Years ago when I was much younger, my siblings and I were always told by our mother to put God first in anything we engaged in which is why I want to thank God for given me the rare privilege to be among the living today without which I won’t be in your presence to give this speech right now.
I am sending a big appreciation to the organizers; Merrybet , Amiloaded and the crew of @d9ty7 , @ennylincoln , @vict-vames , @chinyenorah @individual who made it possible for me to be here today. I must confess to you my distinguished organizers that I am highly pleased to be the winner of the annual Mr. Coolval pageant not just because of the title but for the opportunity you have given me to pay back to this site and its members in the best way I can for the great love they have shown me.
I also want to send a big thank you to the boss, Mr. Valentine Nkemjika the owner of this great site who made it possible for us all to gather here as one great family. Mr. Valentine novel sagacity and unmatched foresight, diligence and hard work as made this site grow tremendously over the years and I know, we all know this is just the beginning. As a way of appreciating you sir chat me up for a golden handshake.
I also felicitate with my fellow contestants @eliboy @ademolar @saintkenz @krizzy @lordsmooth @starlet @miztr-fabulous @teesolid @1mikipat @fancyzicoh @shaxee @mosesmichael @don-funtie because you’re all capable or more. Having the courage and brevity to enter the just concluded contest makes you a winner because it is commonly known that winners never quit. I can’t wait to work with you guys as we gather our great ideas together to take Coolval to a greatest height.
I won’t forget to thank my predecessor @pizzaro for the good things he did for this site during his tenure. It is not a cliché that Coolval22.com developed at a fast pace during his tenure and I must say I will be counting on your past experiences to have a successful tenure. I look forward to working with you as we join hands together to make Coolval22.com a site to reckon.
Special appreciation also goes to my formidable campaign team most of who do not know me personally before the contest but still struggled so much, so hard night and day to see me win. If I were to start mentioning your names one after the other, we probably would not stop reading this speech by year 2020. We started as a campaign team with one aim; to make Ele1 win Mr. Coolval. As time went on during the course of the contest, we metamorphosed from a campaign team to a family bonded not by blood but by heart. Gold nor silver I do not have, but God Almighty will bless you outrageously.
I won’t forget to send a big thank you those who gave me the inspiration I needed to enter this contest. My mum who told me I would succeed in anything I lay my hands, @iksqueency my darling who told me just what I needed to gain confidence when I hesitated to compete and lastly Coolvallers who I want to pay back for the love they shown me. All I have to say is thank you.[/b]
[color =blue]My responsibilities as Mr. Coolval[/color]
[b]A lot of people have been asking me hitherto what I have to gain from being Mr. Coolval and I have always given them satisfactory answers. Fame or money wasn’t my aim for contesting in Mr. Coolval but the goal was to repay Coolval22.com and its netizens for all they have done for me since I became a member of this unique online community. Truth be told, before I joined this great site, I lived my life in seclusion and saw myself as someone who came to this world by mistake and had no purpose in life but after joining this great site, not only did I discover some qualities I never thought I had I also experienced great love from so many Coolvallers. If I should start listing the ways I have received love financially, emotionally and psychologically from most of you here today, we will be here till thy kingdom comes.
In order to repay your kindness, I decided to become your Mr. Coolval to introduce ideas which will set the foundation that will take the site to greatest heights and at the same time benefit my fellow Coolvallers on a personal level. Yes, it is true Mr. Valentine and Coolval himself will benefit immensely from our projects but sincerely I must tell you every Coolvaller here will also stand to benefit on a personal level because our collective ideas will lead to sour relationships being reconciled, discovering of hidden talents, careers will be developed, national and international destiny will be intertwined and lots more.
All I ask from you my beloved brothers and sisters is to work together to make this happen. I can't do it without you people. I need you, you need me. I can’t do without you, you can’t do without me. Coolval22.com belongs to us and nobody. Its success is our success. All we need to do is trust and work with each other and nothing will be able to stop us. So help us Lord.[/b]
[color =blue]The issue of peace[/color]
[b]Once upon a time, there lived a man whose only son was very stubborn. This man was always forcing his son to do things but the boy refused. He used varieties of punishments on him and even threatened to disown him but guess what? The boy didn’t care! The father came to a conclusion that the boy hated him probably because he had been possessed but what the man later realized was that he had been pushing too hard and prevented his son from making choices for himself. What do we learn from this? People have to feel we understand their point of view before they internalize ours.
There is another story of two friends named Tayo and Ebere. They did many things together and were more like sisters not until Tayo went for a school competition which she won. The following day after the competition, Ebere went to congratulate Tayo for her success but guess what? Tayo snubbed her which made Ebere angry thinking Tayo winning the competition has made her proud. What Ebere didn’t know was Tayo overheard some people last night making plans to kill Ebere but was caught and was told never to talk to Ebere if she wants her friend to live. What do we learn from this? Always try to understand what someone has gone through or is going through which might have triggered their bad behavior towards you.
Humans are free but still depend on others. One person cannot produce everything but he produces one thing and thousands of people produce other things for him. A doctor treats his patients but who trains him to become a medical doctor? Who trains his kids? Who cooks his food? Who produces food for him to eat? Who gives him security? Who makes the tools he needs to work? A rope cannot be torn apart easily except it is loosed. A broom bound together cannot break except when separated. All this shows everybody needs somebody. Every singular need each other because no one can do things on their own. Val needs us, we need him. Without us there would be no Coolval and without him there will be no us. This shows the reason we need each other for survival.
Everyone has two sides- a good and a bad side but most of the times we only get to recognize the bad side. Try to see the good in people, treat people who treat you with contempt with love. An eye for an eye only makes the world go blind. We all have our personal problems, we all have our differences. That girl you call a slut must have been heartbroken and raped by guys so many times. That boy you call arrogant must have been raised by parents from a broken home who didn’t have time for him. That girl who has no friends must have been betrayed by all the people she trusted in the past. We all have a past, so instead of trying to castigate others, bring that person close and try to understand such a person. We all have been ambassadors of good at some point in time and we all have our bad sides. So I beseech us all to imbibe the spirit of understanding. If at all the world will ever be a better place to live, it starts from YOU.

Let us forget our differences and the quarrels we had during the course of the contest because they exhaust us and risk the chance of deviating far away from who we truly are. Let us have faith in one another and renew our beliefs, the beliefs we all had about each other and in our future as individuals that will offer the society the love and trusts needed to make the world a better place.
