A German beauty salon owned by a 50-year-old hairdresser, Falk Döhler, is now on international spotlight after he brought his four-foot long pet - a Python - named Monty into Haar Mode Team salon in Dresden, Germany, for two days a week to perform the specialist massages.
Döhler said he got the idea to offer the massage after being inspired by seeing a similar technique offered while he was on holiday in South Africa.
According to a report by Dailymail , the massage involves half an hour of relaxation (or horror for some) as the reptile wraps her body around the neck and tenses and releases its muscles, massaging the client.
The monster Python is estimated to be 90% pure muscle which the hairdresser said makes him ideal for the task. The service is priced at 35 Euros for 30 minutes and only is available for two days a week by advanced appointments only.
Speaking with a correspondent, a satisfied customer, Flora Magdalena, said she often had a tense neck but Monty had a 'powerful manner'. She said:
'I will be back.'
