As they looked around, she was nowhere to be found. The wedding planner said to Ms. Rofina "your daughter is missing". "That's not possible", she replied. I have practically checked everywhere but she is not here", said the wedding planner. Where could she have gone to? The mum asked. "Let me call her", the mum said. I tried but it's not going through, maybe you will have better luck", she said. " It's not going through either" the mum said with frustration in her voice. Where could she be? Her wedding is in a few hours time. "Maybe you should call the groom, he might have news of her", suggested the wedding planner. As the mum called and told Clinton that Sonia is missing. I'm coming was all he replied. Before a twinkle of an eye, he was there. What happened, where is she? He asked at the same time. We don't know" they both answered. The mum said, "we thought she might be with you, that's why we called you. No she is not" he replied. Did you two have a fight? The mum asked him. No, we didn't ", he replied. How come we can't find her anywhere? The mum asked again. "Mum, I'm telling you the truth, we didn't have a fight" he said. We talked happily and she told me she will see me at the altar. "Then what happened to her? Mum asked without waiting for a reply, she added "I hope nothing has happened to her, she's all I've got. "Mum, she is okay. We will find her" he said. When last was she seen. "After the bridal shower", replied the wedding planner. What is this I'm hearing? asked the voice. The voice turned out to be Trisha's. Sonia's best friend and maid of honour. "Calm down, we will find her" he said to her. "She told us she was going to get something to eat, I was beginning to wonder why she was taking so long", Trisha said. "Nobody has seen her", said the wedding planner. "Where could she be? the mum asked rhetorically. "Everybody calm down, we will find her", he said. I'll make some calls, call people to comb the town, I'm sure we will find her. After hours of searching, still no trace of her. By then, tension was in the air. Her mum was crying, Trisha was pacing back and forth. Where on earth could she be, it's morning and she is still not back" the mum said. We've searched every possible place she could be, still nothing", Clinton said. So what do we do now? Trisha asked. The wedding is in four hours, she was so excited. I just hope she is alright. Then suddenly it clicked. "I know where to find her" he said unexpectedly. I'll be right back. I'll come with you ", Trisha offered. No! Stay here with mum. I got this. There is this beautiful lighthouse by the beach she always went to when she needed to clear her head and have some lone time. As he approached the beach, he could see her standing by the lighthouse and staring at the beach. When he saw her, he heaved a sigh of relief. As he got to her, he said, "I knew I would find you here". She was taken aback by the voice. As she turned to look at him, she replied, "what are you doing here, don't you know it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding? Bride? he asked. " Hello! Today is my wedding" she replied. When you suddenly went missing, no word, no call, no trace, I thought I have been jilted" he said. Of course not! How could you think of something like that? she asked. When you left, no trace of you, I didn't know what to think anymore", he said. "I have a lot of doubt in my life but marrying you is not one of them", she told him. I just needed to be alone to spend my last night as a single lady. And you didn't tell anyone? he questioned. "I didn't want to tell mum because she won't allow me out and Trisha had one last dare she wanted me to complete", she replied. And me? he asked. You know I'm your alibi. "You would have wanted to come with me and I don't want that. We have the rest of our lives to be hitched together, I just needed to be alone this one last time", she said. "We were so worried about you", he said. "I didn't mean to, I planned to get back in time for the wedding", she said. "It seems like you kind of slipped up", he told her. "What! No way, that can't be" she said breathlessly. "I think we need to talk" he said. "Come on! We have a wedding to get to baby", she said. "We should talk about the wedding", he persisted. "Oh My God! You don't want to marry me", she said. "Oh no! Where did that come from. You know marry you is all I want to do", he told her. "That's not true, you also want to make me late for my wedding", she said. " Sorry your highness", he teased. Come on let's go. They rushed to the wedding venue, all preparations were being made.
