Often, when a person asks something of someone, such
one expects to get just what has been requested.
However, it does not always work that way. A Nigerian
lady has recently taken to Twitter to narrate an individual
had asked her for something. Her reply and response to
the person's request was quite unexpected and even
hilarious.
The said lady named @dasucre on the mini blogging platform
said the individual who was also a woman had requested for
chewing gum. This requested was prompted by the fact that she
was chewing something in her mouth.
When the request for gum was made by the undisclosed lady,
@dasucre gladly replied that she had more chewing gum and
she was willing to share. Then, she reached into her bag.
But rather than bring out a packet of chewing gum, @dasucre
brought out one African cherry or what in the Nigerian dialects is
called 'udalu' and 'agbalumo'. What was offered to this lady
surprised her a lot.

This is because 'agbalumo' looked nothing like the chewing gum
she had requested. However, the irony of the matter was that
when chewed thoroughly, the inner and outer skin of African
cherry usually turned into something sticky that could very well
pass as gum.
Whatever the case, the lady who made the request was not
pleased with what she received from @dasucre.

She requested only gum but was given fruit and gum combined, so she should be happy
