SUCCESS: LIVERPOOL are set to receive at least
£300,000 from Manchester City thanks
to their Champions League success.
Raheem Sterling made the
acrimonious move from Anfield to the
Etihad last summer for £49million. The deal was incentivised with several
add-ons, including City's progression in
Europe. And by beating Paris Saint-Germain on
Tuesday and reaching the semi-finals,
Liverpool will pick up £300,000.Should City win the tournament, the
Reds will earn even more cash. City will find out their semi-final
opponents on Friday with Real Madrid,
Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich all
in the draw. The first legs will be played on April
26/27 and the second legs on May 3/4
with the final at the San Siro in Milan
on May 28.
