before the match at Anfield SHARES COMMENTS Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has posed for selfies with Borussia Dortmund fans ahead of this evening's
Europa League quarter-final
second leg between the two
sides at Anfield. German Klopp spent seven
years in charge of the
Bundesliga outfit before
leaving last summer and
taking over on Merseyside
earlier this season. He led his current side to a
1-1 draw in the first leg at
the Westfalenstadion with
the tie finely poised going
into this evening's game. Klopp had pictures with
travelling supporters who
are hoping to see their side,
favourites before a ball was
kicked in the quarter-finals,
reach the last four. Fans of both clubs were
filmed enjoying themselves
in Liverpool city centre prior to the match.
“It is about being brave – it is
always about being brave,"
he said. “Being brave is one of the
most important things in
football - and most certainly
against Dortmund.”
