after completing his move to
Liverpool Liverpool have completed the
signing of defender R. Klavan for an undisclosed fee

Watford deal for defender expected to be completed in a ‘matter of hours’ With half the team already sold or released on a free, Marseille are hard at work trying to sell their remaining players in what seems to be becoming a yearly full revamp of the squad. The sale of Georges-Kévin Nkoudou to Tottenham should be made official fairly swiftly, and La Provence in France believe the transfer of Brice Dja Djédjé to Watford should be done soon too. The right-back has been linked with a move to the Hornets for about a week now, and the local French newspaper are still confident it will happen. The only reason the deal hasn’t gone through yet was that the player and the Premier League club were still negotiating the final details of his new contract, meaning it might only be a ‘matters of hours’ before it’s made official. This was at 7am on Wednesday morning, meaning an announcement later on Wednesday isn’t too bad of a shout. Bar any unforeseen circumstances, Watford will have a new right-back by the end of the week.
