For months now, there has been a lot of leaks on how Apple’s latest smartphone, the iPhone X is going to look like. Well Apple finally surprised us yesterday as it unveiled the iPhone X which graced us with wonderful and amazing specifications.

This is happening a few months after the glorious Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were released.

The event which was trending on Twitter yesterday took place at the Steve Jobs Theater.

To say the least, I was impressed as Apple CEO, Tim Cooks took the stage at the new Apple campus and showed the world the unique and impressive properties the iPhone X is made of.

Lest I forget, this is Apple’s tenth-anniversary and they made sure the most part of the event kept everyone blown away with exciting and stunning graphics of the new smartphone.

Read on as I elucidate on the most amazing specifications of the iPhone X.

Face ID

Now this is gonna get you excited.

Using Apple’s new True Depth camera system, the Face ID is an enhanced facial recognition feature that incorporates eight different cameras and sensors that combine to instantly recognize the owner’s face. It features a new A11 Bionic chip with a built-in neural engine that powers the system.

Interestingly, Apple’s iPhone X face ID is not going to be deceived with you wearing glasses or cap or anything that gives a picture of the owners. Only the owner of the phone is capable of unlocking the phone. Whether he is wearing glasses, a new hair or even a grown a beard doesn’t matter as his true face has been captured already.

Futhermore, the infrared element will take care of low light problems.

Face ID will work for unlocking, Apple Pay, and with third-party apps that require it.

Super Retina Display

This is definitely Apple’s very first iPhone with an OLED display coupled with an amazing Super Retina Display. It measures 5.8 inches diagonally, and it features a pixel density of 458 ppi with a 1,000,000:1 color ratio. It’s also a True Tone screen, which means it automatically adjusts its color temperature based on the lighting you’re in at any give time.

There is No Home Button

Of course, everyone knew this one was coming due to months of incessant leaks. Apple has replaced all of the home button’s functionality with gestures. So, a simple swipe up from the bottom brings you to the home screen. Apple has always wanted to make a phone with an all screen display and they finally did it. It’s a welcome feature anyway as you don’t get to press buttons anymore.

Body Build

Another impressive specification incorporated into Apple’s iPhone X is the body build. The entire body us completely made of sturdy glass and stainless steel. The stainless steel is polished to match the color of the phone. The phone comes in two colors which are black and white. The phone also has a dust and water resistant feature.

Animoji (The New Apple Emoji)

Built in with iPhone X’s new True Depth camera system is the Animoji feature which enables the user to create Emojis based on a dozen different animated Emojis. You just take a picture and they create the emoji by mimicking your own expressions and movements.

Cameras

The iPhone X has dual optical image stabilization, making it the second smartphone to feature dual OIS feature.  It has a new dual-lens camera system on the back of the phone. The cameras are made up of 12-megapixel sensors, but feature many other enhancements.

A11 Bionic Chipset

Apple iPhone X features a 64 bits, system, a new Apple-designed GPU, 6 cores.. Like seriously, this isn’t even a smartphone, it’s a super-smartphone.

Battery Life

Apple just can’t stop surprising us. Imagine this, despite it reduced size, Apple still found a way to increase battery life by 2 hours compared to the former iPhone 7.
Apple also integrated the fast charge technology into the smartphone. This is a very important aspect of the phone i must confess. I just can’t work with a phone with poor battery. Kudos Apple.

Wireless Charging

King of the features, hahaha. You now get to charge your phone just anywhere you are, wirelessly as Apple’s new iPhone X now features a Qi wireless charging system.

To sweeten the juice, Apple has introduced a new charging mat that’s capable of charging an iPhone X, a new Apple Smartwatch that works in a completely synchronized format with the iPhone.

Price And Variants

The iPhone X isn’t going to be that everyday smartphone. We are talking about money here. Apple will be releasing two variants of the iPhone X, a 64GB version with a price of about £999, followed with a more expensive 256GB version for £1,149.

Release Date

The Apple iPhone X will be up for sale later this year. Pre-orders will begin on October 27 and official sales on November 3.

This is a £1000 phone people,it’s the bomb… Get ready to be amazed by Apple..
