Reacting to the letter sent to him by 2face’s Lawyer shortly after he alleged that 2face stole his song, “Let Somebody Love You, Blackface told 2face to go to hell! According to the letter, Blackface is to apologize to 2face within seven days for the offensive statements he made against 2Baba and his manager. But Blackface isn’t taking any of that shit! Instead, he slammed them some more. In his words:
"They sent me a letter asking me to apologize. Rasta-Man apologizes to nobody! They are filled with evil and fuckery. What am I apologizing for? Somebody takes your music and you apologize? Is that for real? They are really playing with themselves and I think the manager is putting him in a whole lot of trouble. They took a lawyer from Oshodi Bridge to write something for them who does not even know what to write. Illiteracy is around them. They are crazy.
“The evidence is there. They sang my song and somebody else published it. I’m not even talking about African Queen right now. I am talking about “Let Somebody Love you.” That song shouldn't have been released without my permission because it’s my song. The manager went to publish my song. I don't know what kind of pilfering they are doing. They are industry crooks. They are robbing the industry of a whole lot of things. That is what they are doing.”
