Huawei Mate 20 X is the latest flagship from the tech giant and its one brilliant piece of a unique smartphone. It is specially designed for gamers and might as well pass as a perfect fit for a gaming phone. Featuring a massive 7.2-inch screen which allows you to enjoy mainstream gaming in full HD. It also has a flat OLED panel with 1,080 x 2,244px resolution and a teardrop notch. Let’s find out more.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Huawei Mate 20 X features a very stylish design with a very attractive look made out of glass which makes it shimmer in light. It is available in Midnight Blue and Phantom Silver colors. In thickness, it measures 85.4mm *174.6 mm *8.15 mm and weighs 232g generally.

Looking at display, it boasts of a massive 7.2 inch OLED screen with a breathtaking OLED panel. It has a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,244px with teardrop notch.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Under the hood, it runs on the powerful Kirin 980 chipset bound by a 7nm process technology, supported by the Huawei GPU Turbo 2.0 tech which helps to accelerate speed and power on the device. It also features a super cooling system which helps to cool the device and deliver smooth experience especially during gaming. The graphics is handled by the powerful Mali-G76 GPU which is brilliant for games.

For multitasking and storage, there is a 6GB of RAM space supported with an internal storage of 128GB which is upgradeable up to 256GB via a MicroSD Card. Huawei Mate 20X runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box based on Huawei’s EMUI 9.0.

CAMERA
Photography system on the Mate 20X is a top notch, bearing a semblance to the same Triple camera system found on the Mate 20 Pro. It boasts of a 40 MP main RGB lens alongside an 8 MP telephoto lens that focuses on your distant shots. To complement the triple camera setup, there is a 20 MP Leica Ultra Wide Angle Lens which captures landscape photos and macro shots.

The front camera is no fluke on its own, sporting a 24MP selfie shooter with AI-powered support.

BATTERY
Huawei Mate 20 X features a massive battery capacity of 5,000mAh. It is supported by TUV safety-certified HUAWEI Supercharge which helps for high-speed charging.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Huawei Mate 20 X will be available on October 26 at a price of €900 for its only 6/128GB version.
