1. Note down your blocker’s phone number. After writing it down, delete the phone number or contact on your phone.
2. Back up your chats
Just incase you do not know how to backup your chats (messages and media files) on your device, follow the steps below.
Open WhatsApp.
Go to Menu Button --> Settings --> Chats --> Chat backup.
Tap Back up to Google Drive and set up the backup frequency as you desire.
You will be asked to choose the Google account you would like to use backup your files. If you have none, simple click on add account and follow the instructions.
Tap Back up over to choose the network you wish to use for backup. Backing up over cellular will attract additional data charges.
3. Navigate to account settings on your WhatsApp and Delete your WhatsApp account.
Deleting your number means you are no longer active on WhatsApp, therefor cannot be blocked. The block previously placed on your phone number is now invalid.
Your number will disappear from the blocked list of the person who blocked you.
4. Clear WhatsApp data
To clear WhatsApp data, navigate to to your phone settings --> app --> WhatsApp and clear the data.
5. Reactivate Your WhatsApp
To reactivate your WhatsApp, open WhatsApp on your device and register your number on the WhatsApp like a new user. It will look like you are doing it for the first time as a fresh user.
