The Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 XL have been launched by Google at the MadeByGoogle event held on Tuesday in New York City. While the Pixel 3 does not feature a Notch, the Google 3 XL embraces an added touch with the Notched screen placed on top.

In this scenario, you will agree with me that some people are a huge fan of notched display while some others don’t just like the Notch on smartphones at all. The Google Pixel 3 XL offers a huge repository of features, so the Notch display shouldn’t really be what is stopping you from getting it because you don’t like it.

Never to worry though because I will show you how to hide the notch display on the Google Pixel XL 3. I’m glad Google incorporated the idea of adding this feature to the device, so people who don’t like it can just put it off.

No doubt, the Google pixel 3 and 3 XL come with incredible camera quality. According to Rick Osterloh at the device launch on Tuesday, he said Google has built the best mobile camera and put it in the most useful smartphones. We are looking at a dual camera setup of dual 8MP front-facing camera with the latest modern camera technology.

So for persons out there who do not like the Notch, here is how to hide the notch on the Google Pixel 3 XL.

*How You Can Hide the Notch on Google Pixel 3 XL
As expected, the Google Pixel 3 XL runs on the Google's latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Regarding this, to hide the notch on the Google Pixel 3 XL will have you navigating to the developer options in Settings! Here is how to go about it.

Open Settings from your app drawer or home screen.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Tap System, Tap About phone.
Scroll down to the bottom.
Tap the Build number seven times until you see a dialog box that says, “you are now a developer”
Go back to the Settings page and type notch in the search bar at the top.
You’ll see a single result called Display cutout. Tap the link to go to the Developer options menu.
Select Hide to hide the notch.
