Good day folks. If you have been searching for the right way to backup and transfer messages from Whatsapp to GBWhatsapp, then you are on the right page.

I had to create this article after I was lost in a dilemma of my own when I wanted to move from Whatsapp to GBWhatsapp without losing any of my chats or messages.

If you don’t know what GBWhatsapp is, GBWhatsapp is a popular modded version of the original WhatsApp application. It comes with a plethora of additional features that you won’t find on the official WhatsApp. It allows you to save WhatsApp status/stories, increase the length of video upload in stories and much more.

You can checkout all you need to know as well as download the latest version which is GBWhatsapp v6.55.

To be sincere, switching to GBWhatsapp has always been on my mind, considering the tons of features which are on GBWhatsapp that I wanyed to try out. My major fear was losing my chats of over 5 years.

There was no way I could risk losing my chats just like that. There are tons of messages and files in it that I do make reference to in a lot of situations.

However, after making a deep research on the web, I came up with the right solution, the right way to backup and transfer chats from Whatsapp to GBWhatsapp.

I didn’t even need ta third party app to accomplish this. Everything was done right on my android phone in a matter 10 minutes. Awesome, isn’t it.

If you were in my shoes and would like to move from Whatsapp to GBWhatsapp without losing your chats, then follow the steps below.

STEP 1

First off, you need to manually make a full backup of all of your old chats on the Official Whatsapp. Here is how to do that. Go to Settings=>Chats>>Backup Chats.
