Tech Giants, Google have introduced a new feature to the YouTube platform in its advertising venture for publishers. We all have grown accustomed to the usual 5-seconds skippable on YouTube, right? Well Google is breaking those bounds and is introducing YouTube Non Skippable ads for videos on the platform.
Of course, this will be highly beneficial to YouTube Channel owners as it will make them more money while on the other hand, it will be big no for subscribers who hate ads, especially those ones who do not have much data to spare.
This feature should be be rolled out globally starting from next week, so you should be prepared to watch a few 20-second long YouTube ads if you love watching videos on the platform.
As at the time of publishing this post, the Youtube Non Skippable ads feature is already been experimented on a few YouTube channels. Google also added that it will rolled out to everyone in the YouTube Partner Program, just so YouTube channel owners and creators can benefit from the innovation.
According to a Google, maximum video length for all non-skippable ads rangers from 15 to 20 seconds, a bit longer than the mandatory 5-second ad time frame for lots of adverts which users have grown accustomed to.
As for YouTube channels that are newly created, this feature will be automatically activated for them.
