Once upon a time, two foxes were roaming in the forest, both tired and hungry!
It was'nt quite long after their walk that they sighted a grape tree. The fruits on it were ripe and tantalizing.
"this must taste really nice, i must get it for myself" one of the foxes thought to himself. The other fox also seemed interested.
For over 30mins now the two foxes have been trying all their best to jump up and grap the grape friut but all to no avail, consequently, the first fox said "i've changed my mind i won't get that fruit any more it'll taste sour anyway" he said and left angrily as if he has just lost a gold.
Meanwhile, the other fox, knowing he can't get the fruit himself, decided to wait a while if an animal who could reach the fruit would pass by;"probably a monkey might stray herd" he said to himself.
After some minutes of waiting, the fox sighted an eagle soaring high, "help! help!!" he screamed with the remaining energy left in him. The eagle was hearing some faint sounds that seem to be that of help, she decided to fly down.
She met the fox lying helplessly on the ground, obviously hungry. "how am i sure this is not some trick" she asked herself. But she summoned the courage to ask the poor fox what his problem was, "i'm starving to death because of the famine in the kingdom, fortunate enough for me, i got to see this grape fruit, but unfortunately i'm not flexible enough to plug it and eat" he said. Its "alright i'll help you get it" the eagle replaid as she flew up towards the fruit, plugged it and gave it to the fox.
"thanks alot! Indeed i owe you one" the fox said after been given the grape fruit. He ate it, relaxed under the tree for a while and started towards his house. On the way, he saw the carcass of his brother. "oh no! He must have died of starvation" he said shaking his head and off he went away sadly.
