Philippe Coutinho is expected to return to Liverpool training on Thursday after representing Brazil on international duty. Jurgen Klopp’s side got back together
at Melwood on Wednesday as they
prepare to take on Tottenham Hotspur
at the weekend but they were
without Coutinho, who was in the
process of returning from Brazil via a lengthy flight. Philippe Coutinho has created 31 chances in the Premier League this season. The midfielder was an unused
substitute for the South American
nation in their 2-2 draw with Paraguay
in the early hours of Wednesday
morning and the 23-year-old faced a
gruelling 13-hour flight back to Merseyside. According to the Liverpool Echo, Coutinho will be assessed when he
returns to Melwood on Thursday to
see if he is able to feature in the match
against Spurs at the weekend. While the playmaker only featured for
