Barcelona will be without
Adriano for El Clasico against
Real Madrid and for the UEFA
Champions League match with
Atletico Madrid. The full back has suffered a
hamstring injury in training and
will be sidelined for a minimum
of ten days. Thankfully it won't disrupt Barca
Head Coach Luis Enrique's
plans too much as he would
have been second choice
behind Jordi Alba and Dani
Alves regardless. If Enrique had been thinking
about rotating for the Real
Madrid game then he could
have been in contention, but is
is now widely thought Enrique
will select a full strength team against Real Madrid despite
sitting in a comfortable position
in La Liga. Andres Iniesta, Sergio
Busquets and Ivan Rakitic are
also all expected to be available
for Barcelona despite not being
involved in their respected
international matches for Spain and Croatia.
All of Barcelona's international
players are now back with the
squad, with the exception of
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and
Javier Mascherano, with no
fresh injury concerns.
