Apple iPhone XR is one of the set of trio phones launched by Apple recently, alongside the iPhone XS and XS Max. It is a budget-friendly iPhone, one of the most affordable we’ve seen in the last three years. Just like the other who, it is powered by an A12 Bionic chipset. It has 3GB of RAM with a 6.1-inch screen size. Let’s find out more.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The iPhone XR is built around a aluminium alloy frame with a reflective body design. There is a single rear camera at the top left corner with the LED flash underneath. In thickness, it measures 8.3mm and weighs 194g. It is IP68 certified, so it dust and water resistant.

It has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 828 x 1792 pixels and 326 pixels per inch density for clear visuals. It also has 79% screen-to-body ratio. There is a notch on top.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
On the inside, it is powered by the new A12 Bionic chip built on a 7nm process node. It runs on a 6-core processor clocked at a speed of 2.5GHz. Graphics is handled by an Apple GPU with 8-core neural engine.

For multitasking and optimization, there is 3GB of RAM memory available. The storage capacity comes in three variants which are; 64GB, 12GB and 256GB variant. It runs on the latest iOS 12 OS.

CAMERA
The primary camera here leaves us with a single 12MP rear shooter with f/1.8 aperture, 28mm sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size with PDAF support. The selfie shooter on the other hand boats of a 7MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

BATTERY

The Apple iPhone XR is powered by a non-removable 2716mAh battery with fast and wireless charge tech.
