The All Progressives Congress (APC) youth
renaissance group has fired a stinker at Peter
Okoye of P-square for insulting the Federal
government of Nigeria by calling it “Ndi Ala”
simply because the FG sought to promote
Nigerian content by proposing a ban on music
videos shot outside the country.
Shortly after the Minister Of Information, Mr. Laid Mohammed made the announcement that the FG seeks to promote Nigerian content in music videos and Nollywood movies and hence places a ban on videos shot outside Nigeria, Peter Okoye of P-Square went online to oppose the motion and went as far as tagging the FG “Ndi Ala” (Mad People).
His curse found its way to the FG, who have
fired back by addressing the singer in a lengthy statement that portrays P-Square as greedy hypocrites who rose to prominence on the wings of policies like this in the 90s which mandated all broadcast stations in Nigeria to pay attention to Nigerian music by playing 95% of Nigerian songs every day.
Right about now, those responsible for arresting folks for the FG are on their way to Peter Okoye’s house to take him in and possibly deal with him for daring to use “curse words” on FG.
What do you think awaits Peter Okoye???
