Am going to use an incident that happened four years ago when bombing was still very new to we the people of Kano to ask a question today.
After the bomblast in Kano January 20th 2012, a law was made in Kano that once a motorcycle get close to any checkpoint, the rider and the passenger both have to get down from the bike and start trekking until they pass the checkpoint before they will enter the bike again.
One fateful day, me and my classmate were coming back from school and we were about getting to a checkpoint when we saw a man carrying lady on his vesper and by their appearance, you can easily guess that the two were married but it hasn't been long.
The man got to the checkpoint and refused coming down from his vesper to trek saying that "he doesn't want his wife to trek" a soldier was there that fateful day and when the man was proving stubborn, the soldier slapped the man but to the the surprise of everybody, the man gave the soldier two slaps in return and he also gave his wife some money to go and look for a bike that will take her home because he still wants to teach the soldier a lesson for slapping him.
The woman collected the money and went to look for a bike that will take her home.
When the man saw that his wife was out of sight, the next thing he did was too knee down and start to beg the soldier telling him that "he only retaliated because he didn't want to loose the respect his wife has for him when they get home because he was very sure that after that day, if he wants to scold his wife for doing something bad, the woman will only replied him by saying its only on my body that you have power but the day a soldier slapped you, you couldn't even do anything".
The man was still begging when a policeman sighted us and came to drive us away so we weren't able to witness the end of that drama.
Now my question is "If you were the soldier will you forgive him?"
If no then tell us the punishment you are going to give the man
