One day a banana seller was hawking in the sun and was standing on his particular spot..He has been there for almost 4hrs and yet There's no customer to ask how much is your banana..
Just then a rich guy park in front of him and came down and ask for price par banana...
"how much is your banana?" the guy asked
"#200 sir" the banana guy replied
"what, you're a thief this shouldn't be more than #50" the rich guy shouted irritated..
"sir, its has cost pls buy it"
"am not buying, bye" the rich guy said and move away...
The banana guy was down,so down,is he gonna sell the bananas at a price that doesn't yield him any profit?......No way
40minutes
He already sold most of his bananas when he saw the rich guy coming from the direction he went the other time but this time holding a Can Malt...now its his time to ask him..
"hello sir" the banana guy said
"hi,what's wrong?" the rich guy replied raising his eyebrows..
"how much is that Can Malt?"
"#300 why?" rich guy asked confused
"did you price it from the supermarket you went?"
"n..n..N..no..I mean ye..ye...yes" rich guy stammered...
"hmmm..you claim to be rich yet you decided to kept reducing the price of what we street hawkers sell and choose not to/you can't do while in a restaurants or the supermarket...hmm...The almighty is watching you"....Banana guy said calmly and serious...
Why do we choose to forget that we're once like those people hawking on the streets, those that sell their things beside the roads..we call them thieves whenever we want to buy from them forgetting the condition they are or the reason for their goods price BUT we can't do thesame when we go to a supermarket or a restaurant....why?...is it to avoid embarrassment or what?.......Know that the almighty is watching you....
Peace
