According to rumors, the largest tech company in the world, Google is finalizing negotiations regarding buying over HTC.

These are 2 Solid Why Google Wants to Purchase HTC

A few years ago, one of the biggest phone company in the world, Motorola was almost sinking into the sea. Sales has gone so bad the company also went bank. Then Google came into the picture, bought over Motorola and owned it for a short time period of time within which Motorola regained back its lost glory. This looks like what Google intends to do – save another dying phone maker company, HTC.
HTC has been in decline for the past two years. The August 2017 financial report is the worst month so far for the company in the last 13 years. In July 2017, there was a 51.5% drop in the company’s revenue. This might be due to the fact that HTC hasn’t released any phones lately and it’s going to get even more worse because the Taiwanese company is not prepared to release any new phone for now.

Another reason might be due to fact that Google might be in need of a hardware company to keep the market rivalry against Apple alive.
In light of this, Google might just be a partner or a buyer.

In addition, HTC has collaborated with Google a couple of times before. Together, they created the smartphones such as the Pixel, Pixel 2, Google Nexus 1, and Nexus 9.

In light of this , Google has trust in HTC’s manufacturing attributes.

Please note that it hasn’t been confirmed officially if Google would buy HTC. This is just an assumption made by the writer due to recent reports.
